I e Ocean Beach stay

Great communication from pre-booking to initial stay and onsite. Very friendly, the unit has all the amenities needed and very close walking distance to beach, eateries galore. Highly recommend!

Home away from home

Ocean Beach is a gem

The property was even better than we expected. Very modern. Very clean. And very efficient for 4 adults. 1.5 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to numerous coffee shops (Breaknew was our favorite) and great restaurants. Very beachy vibe. If we make it back to San Diego, this will be our first choice to stay again!

First time in San diego

We all really enjoyed staying here. There is a lot of food options within walking distance. The beach is very easy close. It is only 15 minutes from the zoo and the USS Midway . We loved the location. The house itself is clean and newer everything.

Great Family location!

LOVED our stay! This was our second trip to Ocean Beach and the location is perfect for walking to the beach, shops, restaurants, a nice neighborhood feel. Especially appreciated the beach “gear”. Furniture was comfy and plenty of room for our group of 5.

Would stay here again!

Comfortable place to stay with our young family. Close to the beach, easy drive to other main areas (zoo, sea world, point loma, old town, etc).The house was really clean with nice furnishings. A welcoming sight for weary travelers with young kids!Beach toys and equipment in the garage was great to have available!We communicated with Dan a couple of times in the app and he was very helpful and responsive.

Tournament weekend

We were here for a pickleball tournament and had a brief visit to the San Diego area. Took great walks and visited the zoo. This apartment was in a perfect location to everything.

Great property

The location was great. Just a few blocks from the beach an easy walk for us and the kids. Brand new Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas for use as well as a wagon, toys and boogie boards. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft. The blackout shades in the bedrooms were a nice bonus! Close to restaurants and even a Target is walking distance.

A Fantastic Ocean Beach Stay

My family and I had a great time here. The space is exactly as advertised. Clean, open concept (thanks to the recent renovation), and packed with every reasonable amenity you could want and even a little extra. For us personally having a parking space and washer/dryer helped us pack a little lighter for our extended and complicated vacation. Our Host Dan was a great communicator helping us get settled quickly and generously addressing any small issues we ran into quickly. He was personable and had great knowledge of the area. The access to beach chairs and boogie boards made for fun days at the beach. Between the amazing location that Ocean beach already is and this great place to lay our heads we only regret we couldn't stay longer!

Double Booked and turned away

Disregard the stars I never was able to stay there. Even after receiving all the confirmations and instructions for access I walked into an already occupied unit. Mortifying. After 9 pm at night a car full of groceries and nowhere to stay. Host never responded to multiple texts. Finally after contacting Vrbo directly a Rebecca (who should not be dealing with any customers) is forced to speak with me and with no apology for what happen tells me it’s a “glitch in the VRBO site” Aggravated at this point I have no tolerance for her lame excuse. I come to find out the host could have multiple platforms to rent the unit and they don’t talk to each other. So even though I’m confirmed it’s a matter of who gets there first ?!? A very unpleasant experience but I appreciate Vrbo giving me a credit to find a place to stay on my own. Dan the mystery host was never heard from at any point, so again, after my experience, beware on this one.

Exactly as advertised

Our stay in Ocean Beach was very chill, just as it should be in the OB. Our host reached out several times to make sure that all was good and making sure our stay was carefree. The place was immaculate and relaxing. Most furniture and appliances appeared newish and everything worked great. The location is a few short blocks to the beach and many stores/restaurants. It was great to have a parking space off the street. It was mostly quiet but as there are other rentals in the area on occasion could hear conversations from people enjoying hanging outside late at night.

Amazing Stay in Ocean Beach!

Our stay here was overall amazing! The apartment was clean and extras everywhere! The communication with Dan was so fast, we expressed we were arriving late at night and that we were staying with our toddler. They had the highchair and pack and play setup when we arrived. Location is perfect, less than 10 minute walk to everything. Beach, coffee, grocery stores, restaurants, its all so close. Additional pros, all appliances worked great, the apartment came stocked with laundry supplies, extra batteries, paper towels, beach gear, etc. Some con are the noise levels in and around the apartment. The washer and dryer are quite loud. If you are a very light sleeper I don't think you could sleep and run laundry at night (wasn't a problem for us though). With all OB properties, you are in a flight path, so with the windows open the planes are loud. Same on a Friday/Saturday night, you may hear the bar crowds coming home. Overall I would 100% stay here again.

Really easy process. Electric door code to get in. Nice upper floor apartment. Really cool space. It’s 5 min walk from the beach and super close to restaurants in ocean beach. Would recommend
