First, they gave me a room that was barely a room that too it had a makeshift bath. The showerhead had trickle of water. Sheets were dirty and had wrinkles visible from previous night. Pillows were bad too. No clothe hangers, no iron box, barely a place to sit or relax. BAD BAD. After complaining, they moved me to a slightly larger room and that was ok but had many issues. I do not recommend.

This lovely little studio apartment is located in a great neighbour of restaurants within a 30 minute walk of Little Italy, the Gaslamp District and the Zoo. The host was excellent at check-in and kept in contact to ensure our comfort. There is a refrigerator, microwave and some dishes for the convenience and savings of dining in the room. Do bring earplugs as there is some street noise and the airplanes fly over on a regular basis.

This is not a traditional hotel. It is a step up from a hostel. It is misleading in the pictures and in how it is presented. It was rated 9.2 on Expedia but what I failed to realize is who was rating it and what it was compared to. The building used to be a hospital 100 yr ago and I felt like I was in a hospital room. The linens are old and look used beyond their time. I felt like I was staying in a college kid's dorm. I wanted to leave as soon as I saw the place, but all hotels were booked. If you are looking for a traditional hotel, this place is not for you. The guy who helped me in was nice. When you are expecting to be staying at a traditional hotel, and walk into this, it is a huge disappointment.

No communication until 1 hour brfore check in time when from door code and room codes were given. Front door code was wrong and no onebwould answer the phone. It took us 20 to 30 minutes to get in while sitting on the front steps. We ggogled another number and selected new booking to get someonento answer finally. No forks, no plates, one face.clothe. tThe room was musky unless we ran thebAC. The noticed mold in the bathroom ourblast night there which was probably tje cause. Oir 5 nigjts stay was not not pleasant.

The walls were thin, I could hear someone coughing next door throughout the night. The Wi-Fi didn’t work but I could do without it. This stay wasn’t all bad. The staff were very attentive and fast to respond. The luggage storage room was a big plus for me. I’d not stay here again. I’d say a 3.5/5. The staff called me and asked me to leave a 5 star review which didn’t sit well with me personally because it wasn’t a 5 star stay.

Upon arrival, I was dismayed to find that the establishment lacked a front desk or any staff to assist me. The only means of communication was through text messages, and I was expected to enter my room using a keypad. The room itself was minuscule, with the sink situated in the bedroom, leaving no space for a closet or even a hook to hang my clothes. I encountered further difficulties when I had a package delivered, only to find that there was no one to receive it. The absence of basic amenities, such as a vending machine or ice, was remarkable. The keypad entry system seemed to be the only "service" provided, and it felt like I was staying in a glorified hostel. As I settled into my room, I discovered evidence of mice, including droppings on the floor. The sink was so small that I had to carefully place my toothbrush, and the room was so cramped that I was grateful to be traveling alone. The location was also inconvenient, with no nearby amenities, making a car essential. However, finding parking was a challenge. I was perplexed by the positive reviews, which seemed to be from frequent travelers. My stay was brief, lasting only two nights, and I was relieved to be there for business rather than leisure.
