My fiancé and I stayed at SpringHill Suites in San Diego this past weekend. Overall, the room itself was very clean and comfortable, and we appreciated that. We paid extra to upgrade to the Bayview waterfront room, but unfortunately the view was disappointing. Our room mostly faced the hotel in front of us, and we could barely see the ocean, which wasn’t what we expected when paying extra for a waterfront view. The breakfast was okay, nothing special—just your typical hotel breakfast. The biggest issue we had was with the valet service. Every time we needed to get our car or drop it off, there was no valet attendant present, and we had to wait around, which was frustrating and inconvenient. The hotel has potential because the rooms were clean, but the valet service and the misleading Bayview upgrade were definitely letdowns.

The room needs a refresh! They're tired looking and dingy. I had to ask for extra cleaning when I checked in of the refrigerator, in addition to the cleaning I do myself. The staff is great, as is the location!

I would like this hotel it’s close to everything especially if you ready for your cruise and just try to cross from the hotel walking distance. It’s only 10 minutes from the airport. It’s beautiful and everything close by I will stay here again for sure
