Housekeeping came in and started cleaning my room before I checked out and while I was having breakfast. It was around 10 am. I returned to the room at 10:30 am. They threw away some of my personal items and had placed my clothes in a paper bag.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Wonderful staff and nice accommodations. Pier 39 is very close and easy to walk to. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. The amount of food offered and the huge variety of options was above most hotels I’ve stayed at. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

I liked the location, the walkability, the rooms were nice. I didn't like that there was no restaurant it only has a "to go" snack area and the bar only had basic beers. It was advertised differently. They also never heard of the Orbitz VIP program that was mentioned during booking.

The room and bathroom are pretty small and furnitures are out dated. There is no microwave in the room. I needed to heat up some food once during my stay, and was told that there is no microwave for guests to use in the Lobby; I needed to require a microwave to be sent to my room and they will charge $25 for that. The Lobby area is pretty nice but other than that, I would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel really convenient to the touristy areas of San Francisco such as Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, and the Exploratorium, either by walking or public transportation. Cable car can be picked up nearby as well. The rooms were nice though the bathroom was very small. We had kids traveling with us, so the heated pool was a big plus even with San Francisco's typical chilly weather. The breakfast was the best part. Every morning they served a buffet with every option you can imagine from eggs, bacon/sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit, cold cuts, pastries and beverages. The hotel, at times, felt a little touristy and crowded, with long lines at check out and breakfast time. It's very big with a lot of people. I didn't love the idea that parking wasn't guaranteed though we were able to secure a spot without a problem. That said, I would definitely stay again if wanting to explore this area again.

Loud hotel. Definitely not four stars. Pool was not open. Staff was not very friendly. Fisherman’s Wharf is a convenient location, but not the greatest/safest feeling at night.

Disappointing for a claimed four star hotel. Our room was very noisy - we could hear the TV from the room next store, footsteps from the room upstairs, noise from the street and bus depot outside, and worst of all our mini-fridge made obnoxious noises constantly. On top of that, the hotel was full of surprise upcharges — a $22/night charge for our kids to stay with us in the room, a resort fee of $41/nights, and $34/night parking even though Expedia covered $26/night. All of that increased the price by basically $200 for two nights unexpectedly, at a not very great hotel. Breakfast was great, but stay somewhere else and go to one of San Francisco’s many great local bakeries or brunch spots.
