This hotel is very clean and colorful and I guess kind of "hip" but our bedroom was very cold, and the thermostat didn't work. It was into a master setting, and my son and I had a bad night's sleep because we were so cold. This must happen to almost every occupant of the room, so the hotel should have corrected the problem by now. It's a Marriot property I found out once there. I called down and asked for blankets. 25 minutes later, one very thin blanket was delivered. Also, i bought a tiny popsicle for my son, and it was $5. That is offensively expensive in the United States but particularly bad in Costa Rica, where things tend to be a little bit less expensive. Our taxi from the airport was only $9.

Room was spotless and housekeeping was very diligent in making sure our room stayed tidy during our stay. Me and my bf stayed for 5 days here and we really liked the accomodations like the 8 ball pool table, pool, bar and snack/ souvenir spot. We also liked the breakast which had a nice variety. Cons: gym could have been better. It was small and smelled humid.
