The receptionist, Sarah, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs and ensure I was comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The rooftop pool and beautiful bar were the cherry on top, such amazing perks! Highly recommend.

I liked the charm of the architecture of the building; the lobby is beautiful and the check in and bellmen were very pleasant and accommodating. The food and drinks were good. What I did not like was that our room floor was dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned. The bathroom had no hand soap by the sink, and I found someone's long hair in the bed. Although the beds were made, When I went into the mini fridge to store some drinks, there was someone's left over meal in there. When we went to use the pool, there were no towels left, and we called to get some more, and they never showed up. Based on what I paid for my night, way overpriced for what I experienced.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant Kuero inside of the hotel is phenomenal with incredible views. The parking situation could use a little work but other than that, I would love to stay there again.

We checked in very late in the night because of flight delays. Regardless we were checking in at 3:30am the front desk guy was attentive and very welcoming. He shared advice on where to go if we wanted to have a few drinks and also gave advice of where to grab food at those hours if we just wanted to stay in. The entire Hotel was beautiful. Walking distance to everything. I didn’t pack sneakers and we were suppose to sightsee/walk around San Juan, footlocker was just a block or 2 away so I was able to get some comfortable walking shoes.

We have stayed at the rumbao since they started their renovations. It’s always a pleasure to be there. The rooms are clean and nice and the hotel itself is beautiful and they have excellent service upon arrival you get vouchers for 30 dollars a day for food and drinks not many hotels offer that everyone is pleasant and the service is top notch.

Hotel front desk staff were just nice but nothing extra to make feel welcome.Our package included continental breakfast however when we went to breakfast they informed us that it did not include the American hot meal items which we would need to pay extra for . This is utter non sense as Continental Buffet means everything. The buffet was very limited and the same thing everyday. We were excluded from eggs, bacon which is so basic to exclude guests from. No pancakes , harsh browns or beans, never saw plantains either. Seems to be a miscommunication between staff . We checked into our room and the shower gel bottle was empty. The next morning we asked for house keeping to neaten the room and replenish same. They never did had to message on the Mariott app to request we get some to use. They sent someone with it about a 30 mins after.Improvements definitely need to be made. The staff at the front of the hotel were very nice those were the guys assistant if with luggage and the staff at the cafe downstairs were very nice and friendly. The reservation staff however left much to be desired. The room was clean and specious however the drapes had mildew stains and it was white so it was prominent.

Rumbao’s people are very friendly, and pay attention to details, the room was just perfect for my wife and myself. The renovation decoration is superb. Elegant ambience in the halls, dinner, bar, lobby.Would definitely go again. Beautiful hotel.
