The room was phenomenal. Loved the j as cuz I tub with the stained glass window above it. Loved sunrise over the vineyard from the balcony. Loved the decor. Loved the wood floors. Loved the wonderful woman who ran the breakfast room - what a delightful person. Only thing I’d have liked would have been someone to speak with at check out anda chance to buy some wine. We left at 10:30am but no one was around in the office. Will definitely go back. And the wine was very good - we ended up buying some in Solvang at their new tasting room there.

Breakfast was not good at all. Few options and those available didn’t taste good. Drip coffee out of a carafe. Seemed like a chore to staff to get syrup for the crepes. Several pincher bugs in the room. Front desk staff not cordial or helpful. All very surprising for a hotel at this price point. Room size was amazing but that was about it.

Our stay at CaliPaso was nothing short of spectacular! The villa’s large rooms, complete with a charming sitting area and jaw-dropping vineyard views, felt like a dream. The healthy breakfast was a highlight, packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Christina’s exceptional hospitality truly stood out—she kindly offered to pick up a birthday cake for my husband from a local bakery, and though the bakery couldn’t accommodate due to short notice, her effort and care made the experience unforgettable. CaliPaso’s warmth and beauty have us hooked for a return trip!

We had a wonderful stay at CaliPaso. The actual property was even more appealing and beautiful than the photos portrayed, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was spacious and nicely decorated/designed, with a balcony that has a view of the vineyard...very pleasant all around. The property has a great deal of charm and is very well maintained with beautiful plants and vines. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was much better than anticipated. It was very quiet and relaxing. I would look forward to visiting again.
