Property was clean, safe, and scenic, but it's right aside a park where it can get very loud into the late hours with little league baseball games happening right outside your door/window. No one was manning the counter in the morning for a long while during check-out, fairly inconvenient.

Great Place

We went to Moro Bay for my son’s wedding. All the other places were priced so HIGH. I was concerned about it being Motel 6 because we haven’t had much success with clean rooms on this 5 day trip. BUT this room was immaculate. Once again the hotel.com didn’t reserve the correct room. I had changed it from 1 bed to 2 bed over 10 days prior and received an email acknowledgment of change and new charge. This was NOT made in the hotels system. So the hotel staff accommodated us well.

The location was great. The rooms were uncomfortably small. We had a 3 night stay, and no housekeeping came the whole time. Our key card stopped working repeatedly after 1-2 uses and we had to get new ones. The staff were helpful.

Went on a Wednesday night had workers working until 11:30 at night outside my window with the smell of burnt rubber or something coming in my room. I packed everything up to leave and find another hotel and they gave me another room that was decent. But will never stay here again

Overall condition of the hotel was in poor shape and we did not get any room service until day five after confronting the front desk why I haven’t been getting room service They were changing out the hot water system, and there was no hot water

We stayed 3 nights there. One of the sheets had 3 big stains (about 3 inches in diameter each) by the pillow, which was impossible to have been missed b the cleaning staff. On day 2 when we returned to our room it was just like we left it in the morning. When I asked at the front desk about this, I was asked if I had requested for there not to be any service done. After I replied I hadn’t, they said it was too late (5 pm) to have anything done and they would clean the following day. On day 3 the only thing they did was replace the towels. No cleaning, beds were like we left them in the morning (of course they never changed the stained sheet). There was some plumbing work being done and between the plumbers smoking all day long and the shady guests staying there and smoking all day it was horrible getting to our room. When I checked out I asked if what I had experienced is the way it normally is. The lady replied they were short on staff and she was sorry. That was it. Any place you would pick will be 1000 times better than this place. The only thing going for this place is the location (which is why I picked it). Big mistake having picked this hotel.

Room looked nice but the beds felt 20 years old. The sheets did not smell clean at all. Location is good walking distance from the beach. But if u want a good clean sleep just pay the extra $100 and stay across the street.

This property has been updated and has hard floors, seemingly fresh paint, updated fixtures and is close to beach acess. The linens were fresh and since we didn't need full service after the first night, we were able to trade our used towels for fresh ones. They offer 2 tiny bars of soap but no shampoo or conditioner (not a big deal since there is a Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Albertsons and Rite Aide nearby). You do need to drive to Embarcadero St. where there are plenty of shops and restaurants but there is usually parking. If you have bikes, the hotel is near the bike path that leads you to the rock and Embarcadero. For a budget motel I would absolutely stay here again.
