The location of the hotel was great. It was very close to Cambria. The price was right, less expensive than others around. I was surprised as it was a last minute trip. The room was spacious it was an Ocean view. However we were able to get a view it was partial as there are buildings in the front that cover some view. Room was upstairs and only has stairs and no elevator. The beach is nearby and it is walking distance. It was clean overall. Our only concern was that we saw ants in different places. We were so tired that we didn’t call the front desk by the morning there was a trail of them in the restroom. Fortunately, it one night stay. I wasn’t able to mention it to the front desk as no one was available. There was only a fast check out sign with a container that had the room keys. If you want close to Cambria in a good price range, I recommend it. If you are looking for a fancy hotel on the shore, this is not it.

When you arrive, park easily and check in within 5 mins you know it is going ok. When you go into your room and realise you can see and hear the ocean, you know it is going to be morevthan ok. Ivreally enjoyed staying here, as i could walk to the beach and there were dining options close by. The room was great which was important as i felt a little ill that night (too much Californian sun for an Englishman) and was able to relax and choose a film from the many TV options.

The staff member was pleasant. The property itself is dated but we felt comfortable with the kids. East walk to beach thru small trail just down the road.

Of course, you can find a more luxurious place to stay, but Sea Breeze Inn is a great value for the money. Everything is clean, beds are comfortable and our room had a view of the ocean

Near the beach, can see part of the ocean from the room. No A/C but the ocean breeze in June had it cold enough to sleep. Pool had a deep end of 7 feet which was nice.

The room was exactly what was described when we were shopping for one. I was here (diff hotel, but wished it was here), two days ago, and it was the perfect day and night for San Simeon’s beaches! Yesterday it was very windy and a bit chilly. Our room had everything we need it to spend our night there. Easy access to the beach, very pleasant walk during the night and day. The bed is super comfy and the cleanliness was acceptable. The restroom was immaculate with no mold stains anywhere! That was pleasant by far. I enjoy staying at this particular hotel when we are in San Simeon.

I highly recommend this place for anyone. You will not regret staying here. In walking distance to the beach, fridge, microwave, very clean. The bed was off the chart w/comfort. A definite 5-STAR (Well worth a 10 star). I will definitely be booking here again.

No frills but updated motel room. So close to the expensive motels in Cambria, but very nice on your wallet. The plantation shutters and window sill needs some cleaning. I lived having a ceiling fan. Wall heater is really rusty and could use some attention.
