Far better than a typical preflight hotel!

A lucky find for our pre flight stay! The host was exceptionally generous, giving us a free room just because he had one spare…also sharing his homemade craft beer. The shared bathroom was spotless throughout and both room(s) and bathroom offered amenities well above what was described.

Asle's place is very nice, a typical Norwegian house. Unfortunately our stay was very short but we loved it, he's very kind and ready to help for all needs. Definitely a great choice if you are in the area and want to experience something local! Hope we'll be back soon!

This was our only home stay during this trip and it was perfect. The host was helpful and a good area guide. The area is a quiet neighbouhood with a small town feel and still had all needed convenience in walking distance. We had never gone south from Oslo, but so glad we did! This was our best night’s sleep as well on the whole trip and it led to a whole new Norway to discover the next day.

A wonderful stay! The room was cozy, and the house itself is full of character — every corner has its own charm. There’s a lovely terrace with a garden that feels very relaxing. The host is warm, positive, and clearly loves what he does — the whole place radiates harmony. And of course, the real queen of the house is the cat Siri, who makes sure you know you’re in her kingdom 😄. I left with great energy for the rest of my trip. Big bonus: free airport transfer if you arrange in advance. Highly recommended!
