Upon arrival, the entire home was unlocked and we fealt very unsecure. The AC was not even on and the detached guest suite wouldnt cool down as it was connected to the main ac with a very long run. We ended up having to go purchase fans as there was no ceiling fan remote for the guest suite. There were several smell good canister in the same room, which tells me they were trying to cover up a smell. There was no closet and no where to hang any towels in the bathroom. The casita was also not able to be secured when we left for the day, as it only locked from the inside. In order to try and cool down the guest suite, we had to freeze out everyone else within the main home. The bunkbed room smelled of cigar smell and so did the master bedroom. The descriptions in the listing didnt match the pictures, so we werent completely sure what we were getting. We were able to check in a day early at a discounted rate, which was a plus and we were appreciative for. I believe the home just needs some good TLC as it has much potential.
We had 11 family members stay at this property traveling from Central CA and AZ to cheer on our granddaughter in the waterpolo Jr Olympics. The house is very spacious with enough beds and bathrooms to meet our needs. The kitchen is well stocked with necessary cooking utensils, etc. There were ample beach towels to enjoy the pool. The outdoor grill was quite handy for family meals. The owner responded immediately to any questions we had. The backyard is fenced in so we felt safe to let our puppy enjoy the backyard. The house is close to shopping and other attractions in So Cal. A great place to stay for larger family groups.
Our trip got disrupted for an unfortunate situation from the party that stayed prior to our arrival, but Ricardo was incredible to deal with. He was overly communicative and worked with us to ensure our stay in Anaheim was not disrupted. This house is great and in a wonderful neighborhood!
