This little place was conveniently located to where our son & his wife live, which is why we booked it. It was a pretty good central location for other activities in the area. Although the neighborhood was a simple, low-end one comprised of families with lots of cars, it was very quiet and we felt safe (except for very loud fireworks late on Thanksgiving night that scared me at first!). It was comfortable and clean and everything had been freshly renovated and updated. The beds were comfortable but the couch in the living room was not very comfy and didn't provide enough sitting space in general for 5 adults. The space is very tiny and compact but still served it's purpose for us. There were just a few basic kitchen items that were missing but if you're not planning on cooking in, then wouldn't be a problem. But we cooked a lot so needed more towels and oven mitts. Had to wash all dishes by hand which is fine, but there was no dish drainer or drying pad or towels so was a bit of a challenge but we made it work! Outdoor area in back with the fire pit was a nice touch, but it was dirty and unkempt upon arrival. Also, there was no grill even though it was listed. Communication with host was excellent, parking in the garage and driveway very nice and safe. Nothing was mentioned about the gate that you have to get out and open and close each time, so just be aware of that. Nice added safety feature that should be on the list! Overall, a good stay.
