Fun vibe

The location and vibe of this hotel is great. Super convenient for what we needed. Love the decor and the service was good. We had a first floor room facing the parking lot. It was a bit dark and stuffy, as there was no way to open a window and get fresh air into the room. And since it faced the parking lot, we needed to keep the shades down for privacy. I would definitely stay again, but next time I would try to be on an inside facing room.

This hotel is a jewel from another time. Spacious rooms, modern furniture, tasteful lobby and dining areas. It is spread out with plenty of room to park your car, walk around leisurely, enjoy the property. Clean well lit room, nice shower, modern mirrors and lightening - everything was just right. Good location. Expensive plus 15 a night parking. The key setting machine didn’t work and I had to wait a long time to get the key cards. Then the key reader on our door needed to be replaced so maintenance people had to drill out the old reader and replace it with a new one. The shower head was not adjustable up by or down so it was difficult to use and made a mess. For the price we were disappointed though we had enjoyed previous stays.

Clean room. Comfortable beds. Premium toiletries provided were a nice touch. Parking is $15/night. Plenty of restaurants across the street. Friendly staff. Close to UCSB. We would stay here again.

The room is small, does not have a fan - so all the moisture after taking a shower stays in the room and makes it really stuffy. By the end of the stay we noticed a mold in the corner of our room that erased all the good impression about this place, unfortunately. You have to pay for water they put in your room, coffee in the room is free.

Very pricey and definitely not worth the money.

There seems to be a severe disconnect between the hotels and third-party vendor that tries to promote them. There was no breakfast, brunch offering, no happy hour menus, shortage of paper goods such as toilet paper and Kleenex, shortage of linen, such as washcloths. Trash cans were missing their liners and had to ask for additional. In closing staff was very kind and try to accommodate off script as much as they could
