Very clean, basic hotel is a very enjoyable Carpenteria at a much less expense than Santa Barbara. Great location right off US 101.

Comfortable for a couple nights

The room was large and clean, beds and pillows comfortable. The water pressure was adequate. The laundry facilities were not available during our two day stay.

CATHY the manager is charges for unused rooms!!!

I booked this hotel however I cancelled because and I WAS STILL CHARGED! I have been calling the manager, CATHY and she refuses to speak to me or refund me! Terrible customer service and I am disgusted by this manager and hotel.

I don't usually stay at Motel 6. There were few options in Carpinteria. I was there for a track meet. I was pleasantly surprised with the updated accomodations, cleanliness and excellent service that the front office provided. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would come back! The location is excellent. Walking distance from all the shops and restaurants.

The room was filthy and it smelled awful. We requested a non smoking room and it smelled like smoke. Also, there looked like an unhoused man moving into the room next us. He was making so much noise while moving in his stuff. He also had a dog staying with him. It felt unsafe overall. Will never stay here again.

The location is walking distance to a commercial plaza corner(restaurants,grocery market, banks, gas station before freeway S or N 101entrance). It is also about 3 mins drive to the nearest beach coast hiking, walking,jogging.
