Appreciative Quite Setting

The front desk is anti social or needs a quick refresher on people skills. Housekeeping and Maintenance team you gals and gals rock. These two team are very professional, polite, and overall great people. Our room AC died and maintenance came in a jiffy and addressed the situation. The landscape is very beautiful and the barn gym was great-could have weights for bodybuilders. Pool water temperature was warm and pool side clean. Surrounding area looks run down or not so inviting.

My fiancé and I stayed here last week for a wedding and will definitely make this our go to hotel whenever we are in town. The booking was quick and easy and hassle free which was convenient after driving hours to get to Santa Barbara. We had a positive encounter with a gentleman by the name of Mr. Ramirez who welcomed us with complementary coffee, breakfast and gave us a rundown of the restaurant and amenities. The front desk attendant made checking in a breeze and was able to get us our room right away. I really feel that Mr. Ramirez and the entire staff at the Steward make this hotel feel comfortable. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks again to the entire staff for creating a positive experience on us. Kudos!

Lovely hotel!

This is a great boutique hotel! I’ve stayed here 3 times now. And I’ve been very happy each stay. Clean, pretty grounds and rooms, great pricing, I love that they have a restaurant available on site as well. Checking in and out is always so simple and easy.

I keep getting emails to write a review about my stay. Well, I wish I was able to experience the hotel, so the not so great review is not for the hotel itself, more so how I was handled during a situation they had. 30 minutes before I get there I get a call saying they’re going to move me to another location because a few rooms were leaking water. Not sure how much water was leaking from the rooms, but I would have even accepted a later check in for maintenance purposes. Was told I didn’t have an option of staying with them and that I’d have to accept the location change. Left with no choice I went to the location they sent me to. An INN. I was so embarrassed since this was a getaway for my fiancés birthday. Here we are at a 2 star hotel for basically the same price. All Steward did was send me 5,000 marriot points which equates to like $20. Thanks, that doesn’t even cover tax. For the hassle and such downgrade I expected better compensation but it is what it is.

Nice attractive hotel. Well designed rooms. Tub was slippery and valve was very stiff. Tub also didn’t allow for baths. Water only available via shower head. Overall pleased with stay but did not consider it a good value.
