El Sendero was a perfect place for us. It has a huge car park so we could leave our car ($10/night) and walk to the places we wanted to visit while also taking day trips out. It is very centrally located and close to the Plaza and to the Canyon Road galleries. The room was very large with bed room and sitting room with mini fridge and microwave. For breakfast we walked to local cafes and then just bought our own to eat in the room. The main down side is that it is a motel - that is, with entry along an exterior corridor. This configuration inevitably leads to a lack of natural lighting. As long as you don't want to spend a lot of time in the room it offers a super convenient location especially for those who need easy parking.

This is a relatively older hotel and it's pricey due to the location. Rooms were clean but the staff didn't really make us feel at home. Maybe they were just having a bad day, so I would still recommend staying here, especially if you are wanting to visit the church Capilla de Lorreto.

We stayed in a King suite for six nights. It was fine. The bedroom was tiny and closed in and hot with no screen on the window. We asked the desk guy for a fan on night two and he said they didn't have any. We asked someone else the next day and the fan helped a lot. Excellent location to walk to a lot of great dining and shopping choices as well as museums and historical sites.

I loved the location. I could hop in the car and explore or simply walk to shops, restaurants, museums, safely and easily. The room had nice temp control and the room had a mini fridge! Bed was comfy. Shower is serviceable but in order to turn it on you get sprayed with ice cold water because the shower door only opened on one side. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back!

Lovely hotel close to everything

Clean comfortable room, recently updated and well laid out. Beautiful landscaping and colorful plants everywhere. Great location for walking the town. Close to restaurants and museums. We would definitely stay there again.
