The staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and kind. The hotel overall is older and the rooms are very basic. It's super clean, and the beds are comfortable. The shower was a bit on the sandblaster side, with no way to adjust. For the price the room was very basic and from advertising we expected a little more. Overall it was a fine option with the important things like comfortable beds, helpful/ friendly staff and clean rooms.

Should be better for a four diamond hotel

Overall a good experience. Condition of the room was not so great, the ceiling paint was lifting off and the bathroom door knob was very loose, the balcony furniture and area was in poor condition one chair was falling apart. The phone did not work other than having a dial tone and buttons didn’t work. The clock was dated and I say possessed. As you couldn’t see the numbers and it kept alarming. We unplugged it and put it in a drawer! The spa was a bit overpriced. But all of the staff was very friendly!

HORRIBLE service! DO NOT STAY HERE. I would put 0 stars if I could. Front desk was rude and not informative. There was no remote in the room for the tv and they took forever to have security bring one up to our room. Worst part of all, one of the house keeping employees stole my boots from the closet. Security did not do anything to try to locate them… Will never stay there again.

Amazing hotel and close to everything. So glad my girlfriend and I picked this hotel. It was out first time to Santa Fe and knew nothing. But we did our research and cruised around via goggle maps and so happy we did. Just perfect! Walkable everywhere we wanted to go. Food, shopping, coffee, clay making with drinks, Farmers Market, art and churches. Loved the area and people were super friendly. The spa was great and I loved using the gym and steam room. Thanks you for a memorable trip.

While I thought it would be a great place to stay, it turned out not to be. Our room was old with a half-inch of dust under the king bed that you could see sitting on the room’s sofa. We could write our names in the dust in the furniture. Shower head was horrible with only a dribble of water. No cooked to order breakfast as advertised. Some days they didn’t even offer grab and go breakfast items. When we reported our dissatisfaction they said they’d investigate and sent someone to clean the room again. But we saw no difference. For the money we paid, it was a horrible stay. We found another hotel in the area that was a better stay. Plus a winter storm came through in early May and hotel was without power for 5-6 hours and we had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to get to our room to sleep.

Lovely place and great location, too

Very pretty place. The carpets have been replaced recently so the off gassing smell permeates everything. They have a big room on top floor, but you can hear people in hallway talking, music, coming home late etc. i think if they could add some soundproofing in the halls that would be an excellent upgrade. They staff was all very kind and professional.

We have been coming to the Eldorado for over 15 years. It is the only hotel we choose. This time we noticed the wear & tear more than ever before, but we were informed by the wonderful staff members that management is working on improvements which is amazing news!!!
