Do not pass up this true Hidden Gen tucked away in the mountains of Sante Fe!! For a true authentic experience in a Pueblo style house with all of the amenities, this is the one.
Tucked away in a quiet and secluded spot, it was the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge. The home was cozy and well-equipped with everything we neededâso much so that we didnât want to do anything but relax! The bed was comfortable, making for restful nights after exploring the area.We also loved how close it was to the Eldorado area, which made for easy stops for groceries and some great food options. And the homeownerâs collection of art and decor added such a warm and personal touchâit really made the space feel unique and inviting. Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus, and they loved it just as much as we did!We hope to come back!
It was a tough road getting there, a small car would have struggled. Beautiful setting! Kids loved being able to explore outside. We needed the sleeper sofa that was advertised, but it had not been vacuumed for quite some time. We ended up putting a kid on the floor.
Our family picked this location for a spring break retreat. Wow, privacy and sunset views are incredible . The house itself is a masterpiece of artwork indoors and out. If you like exploring the desert, this location is a great. We didn't find any nearby trails, but we enjoyed climbing the hill behind the house to watch the sunset.
We couldnât have been more pleased with our stay at the this home. The location was close enough to town but far out enough to be peaceful and quiet. Itâs hard to explain the magic of this place. You canât get more of an authentic Santa Fe experience than this home. The house was beautiful and clean. The grounds were delightful with their stone walking paths. We would definitely stay here again. The road up to the property was rough but easily passable.home.
The house is beautiful with amazing art and artifacts displayed. It is so quiet and the sunsets were amazing. The road up from the hwy is rough so be prepared to drive slow. So worth the drive.
We really enjoyed staying at this house over Thanksgiving week. It was the perfect spot for our family. Close enough to Santa Fe downtown, Ski Santa Fe and Bandolier National Monument. But away from the busy tourist scene. We really enjoyed spending time on the patio watching the sunset and the stars. The house was very cozy. It was heated and had lots of blankets. It was uniquely decorated and we enjoyed discovering all the details throughout the week. There is even this little hole in the exterior wall (sealed hole) that is like a telescope and you can see a dot of the the sunset from the inside. The house had everything we needed for our week long stay. The road leading to the house was ok for us (we rented a Ford Explorer). It snowed while we were there and the snow was removed from the road very early in the morning. We enjoyed this house and will be back!
15 to 20 min to Santa Fe yet felt like you were in the country. Perfect location for my wife & I & our dog Carl. We will definitely be back. Great hiking trails & breweries nearby.
The house is quick 20 minute drive from downtown. We loved the homeâs decor- authentic southwest with beautiful rugs and paintings. The back and side decks provided lots of birds, including a daily dive bombing hummingbird, and the most amazing sunsets. We enjoyed walking around the grounds with the native flowers and cactuses. It was a true immersion in the nature of southwest. Would definitely stay here again.
Authentic South West with Museum and Gallery Vibes
This Winding Road home was an absolute delight. Its authentic adobe/pueblo style architecture provided a genuine Santa Fe living experience and colourful collections of artefacts, Ingenious textiles, rugs, paintings and other items of whimsy surrounded us indoors and out. Warm, comfortable and inviting the home is nicely equipped although the lack of an oven might pose a deterrent for some. The road in from the highway is bumpy but was not a challenge for our small SUV.
Loved the house - so quaint, quiet, and comfortable. The sunset views were amazing. I loved being away from town just a bit, away from the hustle and bustle. Great place...and I'll stay there again.
We loved this adorable adobe! We saw something new daily. The art work is amazing. The rock work is exceptional! We saw shooting stars from the back deck at night. The drive up is bumpy but not awful at all. We drove up in a Tahoe with no issues. The house is spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Would definitely recommend and stay again if weâre ever near Santa Fe. Also, check out Upper Crust Pizza and Carmelitaâs in Eldorado at Santa Fe. The Plaza Cafe is a must for breakfast!
The whole home is really unique and interesting with tons of really cool details and architecture. It was also really comfortable from the furnishings to a sense of calm and peace. The outdoor space is phenomenal. The photos do a good job of capturing it but it's actually more interesting than photos can really show - there are stone paths that go all the way around the property, cool garden features, and wonderful back patio with an incredible view. I come to Santa Fe frequently and this time I brought my daughters to show them why I love this place so much. This home really helped showcase why this is such a special area.
A little out if the way gem but 20min to The Plaza. Gorgeous Pueblo house filled with charm and curiosity. Grounds are just as beautiful. Somewhat rustic, romantic and cozy.
