A truly special place to stay and at a bargain price because of its location in Espanola. Huge room with high ceilings, skylights, and loads of space for extra chairs, sofas, tables, etc. All the furnishings are beautiful, with lots of traditional Mexican carved wood pieces. Nice jacuzzi in the bathroom. The hotel garden is lovely, very well maintained, and includes tables and chairs. The public rooms in the main house have a great collection of pots, baskets, and other local arts and crafts. The only drawback is that the only coffee available is the less than wonderful little machine in the room.
