The unit comes with beach chairs and an umbrella included that we appreciated! The unit was clean and updated nicely. The only negative thing we might mention is the bathroom door has a barn door that doesn't cover the entire opening and at the bottom is several inches away from the wall. There is no privacy for the bathroom. While the barn door would seem like nice touch, homeowners might consider providing a door with privacy.

This was a great place. We have always stayed in this area in different buildings but this was our first time staying at the CR. We absolutely loved it. We actually plan on staying here again next year. I give it five stars over all. Now there are some personal things I thing could be changed. I think the mattress could be a little better quality as maybe not being so firm. Again that’s personal preference. And I think the half shower glass needs a door because it does make it a little difficult trying not to get water on the floor. Again nothing that we couldn’t adapt to and this is all a personal preference so that’s why I still give it a 5 star. Those were only suggestions. It was clean and nicely decorated and being on the corner of the building made it feel like it was bigger since having side windows and looking out on the balcony made it nice as well. Plus having the umbrella and chairs as complimentary and being set up everyday was a very nice perk. Again i recommend staying here.

We had an amazing stay. The condo was perfect and 10/10 beach decor. Very classic. View was beautiful and beach access is super easy. Communication and response from host was excellent. Staying at The Commodore’s Retreat is becoming a tradition. Can’t recommend enough.

Perfect Spot

We loved our stay at this little piece of paradise! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all you need for a short stay. Perfect for a couple or family with small children. We would stay here again! Thank you for sharing your beach home with us!

Great time at a lovely place. Upgrade on exterior of building is nice. Unit very well nicely updated and comfortable. Vent in bedroom needs to be adjusted fo air does not blow directly in head of guest in bed. Overall a place we will return to.

Beautiful location

My mom and I stayed here for a mother daughter trip. The private beach access was wonderful and the beach was beautiful. Having our chairs and umbrella set up for us everyday was also great. The only downside I would have about this property was that it was missing some basic necessities (coffee filters, dish soap, sandwich bags, etc.). They also only provided us with one detergent and 2 dish washer tabs so we had to purchase more of those. We also almost ran out of toilet paper. Aside from having to purchase some basic necessity things, this property was incredible and we will definitely be returning.

Good Stay

It had been a while since we had stayed in eastern lake. Beaches were as good as we remember. The private beach sign everywhere are a bit creepy. The condo was very nice.

Not our favorite at Commodores

The condo was very clean and perfect size for our family. We love staying at Commodores right on the ocean! However, there are a few things that made it a lesser rating than several of the condos we have stayed in at Commodores. 1) the sliding bathroom door to the bedroom doesn’t give adequate privacy. 2) the fan in the bedroom would not turn on without a remote, which was nowhere to be found. 3) the beach chairs were not out to be used like the contract said. After a few calls, this was remedied but still an inconvenience.

Gulf Front Condo

Great location on a dead end street right on the beach. Having chair service was awesome - sadly it was too windy to open the umbrella. Kitchen could use some new non toxic/scratched pans but was stocked with all the essentials. Only negative was the rowdy neighbors at night after 9:00 p.m.

Construction and scaffolding all around building with notice and unacceptable response

There was construction noise starting at 7:30am on a Saturday and scaffolding all around the building including men just outside the bedroom window and essentially just off the lanai for our long anniversary weekend at this property. There was no communication in advance and unacceptable lack of a response, apology or concern afterwards. The unit it in a lovely location, but management is poor in communication or care for the guests.

Property was as listed!! We loved our stay here and plan to be back! Really nicely equipped, plenty of towels and loved having beach chair setup as part of the package! We came for our honeymoon and can’t wait to come back!

Perfect getaway with amazing view!

This unit was very nicely decorated and was also very clean which is super important to me. The view for this unit is amazing! Loved sitting on the balcony with the close up view and sounds of the ocean. We also loved having the set up of the beach chairs and how secluded the beach area seemed. The area of Seagrove itself was also really nice and convenient to restaurants and shops and we could ride bikes anywhere. Especially loved eating at the Old Florida Fish House. This was a great place to stay and we will definitely plan on retuning in the future!

Great, family friendly building, quality condo!

I've stayed several times at this building and this is one of the nicest of the units I've been in!!! It's an end unit and has extra windows. The place was clean, seemed recently renovated with neutral and cosy items. Had a beach vibe without being over done. It felt zen! This rental did NOT come with beach chair rentals but it's easily arranged with the beach chair company for cheaper than most other places on the beach. There is very spotty cell service in this area of the beach and this unit had overall great wifi service, that isn't true of all the condo's I've stayed in. I was very happy and will pick this unit again next year!
