We loved Dogwood Daze!

We have rented large houses in Seagrove and Seaside for fifteen years now and this was the best and most open and comfortable spaces we have ever been in. The main level has a great primary King suite and a huge kitchen and living room and dining room that was perfect for us to hang out--then the next two levels have their own sitting rooms for getting away from everything to relax. We will be back and this was the best year we have had in Seaside and it is because of Dogwood Daze!

Fall Break

We enjoyed the house...it was even nicer than the pictures. We would have preferred a keyless entry, and being able to disarm the very loud alarm when exiting the sliding glass door. We also wish there was a TV outdoors and a light by the grill so we could see what we were grilling at night. Also, we didn't love that the street is not paved. The kitchen was very well appointed.

We had a wonderful time vacationing in Seaside but had a couple of issues at the property. Dislikes * The fridge was at 64 degrees upon our arrival and didn’t cool down despite our efforts. This spoiled our meat and despite notifying the property manager, we received no follow-up, although a technician did eventually visit. * The Keurig coffee maker was non-functional. * Outlets in the bathrooms on both the second and third floors were inoperative. * We had to put air in the bike tires ourselves and one had a broken pedal. * There was trash scattered around the trash cans. We did LOVE
 * The location was fantastic—an easy walk to the beach and a quiet neighborhood. * The pool and hot tub were stunning. * The interior was exceptionally clean, with comfortable furniture and ample space for large families. Overall, the property is beautiful, but several issues need addressing for a better stay

Refrigerator issue

Main refrigerator did not function 2 1/2 days. We bought food on arrival and it spoiled. First attempt to repair refrigerator was unsuccessful. A rental refrigerator was brought to main hallway 2 1/2 days after arrival.

Beautiful home

This house is absolutely gorgeous. Optimal sleeping arrangements, beautiful decor, and so comfortable. The only thing for us was the management company said they were going to change the sheets in the carriage house in the pull out (they were still there when we arrived), and when we went to sleep on the bed, the sheets had crumbs all over them, there was a Gatorade bottle in the sheets, and were not clean. When we texted about it it was basically ignored. Other than that, the house was amazing and we really enjoyed it.

Great House and pool.

Really enjoyed the house and pool. We did have an issue with the door alarm going off, due to the battery being low. The property management company had to get with the homeowner and that took a little over a day to resolve, so we had an annoying beeping going off in the living room. Overall I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay near the beach. It is a drive or bike ride to the beach, not a walk if you are carrying stuff.

One of my best VRBO rentals

This property is perfect for a large group. The house is beautifully designed, well suited for large groups with many different gathering spots. It is one of the best stocked kitchens I have ever had in a rental. Every bedroom is a king suite with personal bathroom and a porch. Except for the great bunkroom with a bathroom right next to it. The backyard is large and inviting with a half bath right next to the pool. It is a wonderful house and I highly recommend not only this property but the management company. They are top notch, very easy to communicate with and responsive. I only have one complaint and it is not the property's or management's fault. There is a cranky neighbor that called the police and management constantly on the three houses that were being rented on the street. I was at the neighbor's house when the police came and they said, "I have no idea why we are being called out for a noise complaint" I can't hear anything. So while it is the perfect rental, be aware of the neighbor.

Amazing house

The house was absolutely beautiful and so spacious. You really can fit a ton of people here. The living spaces on each floor or very nice. Large dining room table was great for large parties. Used the pool and bike looks on property with no problems. Only complaint was that there was no Wi-Fi for the duration of our stay.

We Love This Property!

We absolutely loved this property! Truly one of the best houses we have stayed in. So much room and many amenities. The pool was so fun to have and we loved the spa. The beach access was not too far away and super close to Seaside Square. We would book this place next year, it was literally a dream!

Worst Host of Seaside in last 10 years

Pool was loaded with algae and couldn't use for 4 days. Kitchen sink didn't work. No garbage bags or toilet paper. Hot tub didn't work & misrepresented pool as being heated in listing. Missing bikes upon check in. Host took days to answer back.

Gorgeous home

This house is more beautiful and amazing than expected. Top of the line finishes, fabrics, appliances, etc. No expense was spared. The layout was amazing and you can tell they really spent time thinking through what would be a comfortable stay. Kitchen was wonderful to cook in. Slept our group of 18 comfortably. We loved all the extra porches etc as living spaces too. Very close to seaside square so location is ideal. You will not be disappointed in this home!! The pool is large and we had it heated which was great. Hot tub a bonus. We were disappointed we couldn’t use the poolside projector, but we understood. This house is brand new and neighbors are not used to people being there yet (or any level of noise whatsoever) That was the only stress- but after the first 2 days it was fine. We can’t recommend this home enough!
