No complaints. It was clean. A good place to sleep for a couple nights. The coffee is good. Breakfast better than average for hotel breakfast. Rooms have clearly been though some tuff times, but all was in good repair and I appreciate having hard surfaces in the room (no dirty carpets). There is some really good food in close walking distance.

The hotel is easy to find off US 101. The room was spacious and the lighting, for the most part, excellent. What was a bit scary was the microwave that upon starting, sent out sparks, even a few flames, from the metal disc on the side panel. When I reported this at check-out, the desk clerk didn't seem to understand or believe me that this is atypical and could start a fire.

Basic, clean.

Basic, clean hotel. Tgis was a spontaneous trip for us and as a last minute room it was fine. Very thin walls and ceiling. We heard everything above us.

I came here to stay with my son who is 8 years old. Came to santa rosa to take my son to the big bounce house of america event for the kids. And i also took him to other places to play in Santa rosa. He loved it, he did not wanna leave. He wanted us to stay a little more. But im happy my son enjoyed the time we had. Nothing bad about this hotel. Friendly staff that works there. The location not the best because its near places where there can be too much noise and at night loud music from restaurant nearby. I dont mind noise, but my son doesnt sleep well when theres lots of noise. For my son probably next time will choose a better location. And the last night i woke up to my phone ringing at like 1am. And someone knocked on my door really hard and loud which is so disrespectful in my opinion because of the time and it scared me a bit because of the time and it was midnight. Im alone with my son so it scared me when i heard my door being banged hard and loud. I had sleep music and maybe it was loud but i put that for my son to help him sleep because of all the noise from outside. Its not like i have party music. I did turn it down a bit. But if the sleeping music was the issue why could they not wait until morning to come knock and say something. Not calling my room disturbing my sons sleep and mine and scaring me in the middle of the night. The other guests can sleep its just sleeping music. Its not like a movie or party music blasting high and loud. choosing better next tim

The property was fine for the overnight stay; easy to find and park. The staff were pleasant and courteous. An annoying aspect of the otherwise nicely designed room with USB charging ports and bright reading lights was the constant noise from the refrigerator. Although it did not impact my stay, the common area (hall, stairwell) carpets clearly have seen better years.

Service needs not addressed

Although it was clean inside and staff was friendly, there was a major issue with the door. Even though it was green, cannot open it unless you pulled the handle in and the push off the door with your whole body to open. That’s what we learned to do. The staff was notified at check in at about 4 pm and had to help us get in. Staff said will make a note for maintenance to work on the door. The next day, the day staff also noted that the door maintenance need had been entered twice. However the door did not get fixed. We always had to have one person inside to let the other person in just in case. Second, on the day we were supposed to check out, the key already did not work after breakfast at 9am, even though check out was 11. We had to have it re-activated. When we went to the staff to get it re-activated, the staff was cleaning off a few tables in the breakfast room. She asked us to wait until she had finished cleaning the tables. Although the cleaning didn’t take long, that’s not what good customer service should look like. Customers should we first, especially when there was no one in the breakfast room.
