The house was great! Well appointed and just like the photos. A few of us were running the Santa Rosa Half Marathon and the location to the course was perfect.
The property exactly matched the listing. It was very spacious and suited our family well. Our group included our four late teen/ young adult children and everyone was comfortable with the privacy afforded to everyone in the group given the layout of the home. We would definitely stay there again!
Six adults and two children had an enjoyable stay for a wedding we attended in Sonoma County. The house was very spacious and accommodating. We did some cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and utilized the gas bbq on the deck. The neighborhood was very quiet and excellent for walking. Shopping was nearby. The children really enjoyed the play area in back yard and all the books/toys located throughout the house. Only reason for not getting a "5" in Cleanliness was that the house does have an issue with sugar ants. Traps are laid throughout the floors but we still had ants roaming and gaining access into our belongings.
This location goes above and beyond with the amount of furnishings, utensils, and overall supplies.
Much appreciated.
Heads up, the coffee machine is broken and all your coffee will be on the ground rather than in the pot
This is a nice home in a beautiful neighborhood but the home needs to be better maintained. We noticed a few ants in the kitchen the first couple days, then about 25 on the third day. We contacted the property manager on that day (Friday) and never heard from them until after we checked out on Monday. We put out ant traps, which of course drew even more into the home, so we had a couple hundred ants in the house Saturday morning. Between Raid and the traps, we were able to be rid of ants by Sunday morning. The kitchen sink runs on a sensor, which wasn't working properly. Initially it would only let the water run a second or two and then turn off. Beginning day 3, it wouldn't shut off, so I had to turn off the water valve under the sink. While there, I noticed that the water filter hadn't been changed since August of 2019. That's indicative of the attention to maintenance throughout the home. The master bathroom shower wouldn't get above lukewarm, likely due to a faulty valve. Carpet is worn, many plumbing fixtures are loose, etc. No communication from management to fix any of the issues we raised. House could be nice, just needs some work.
Our family enjoyed staying at this property. It had all the basic amenities covered plus a ton of things for children of all ages, from books, to board games, etc. Communication with property mgmt was quick and responsive.
We had three couples for a wine country visit. Each couple had an assignment to cook each night after our wine country visits. The kitchen was the best we've had in our 8+ VRBO rentals. Very spacious and well equipped. Everything we needed was available. Nice grocery store is very close (5 minutes) so easy to shop for fresh food items.
The house was super clean and the three full bathrooms worked well for the three couples. Great house for a wine trip to Sonoma.
We didn't have kids or grandkids on this trip, but this house would also work well for families. Nice kids bedrooms, game room and big backyard.
Very nice house. Would definitely stay again.
The house was the perfect amount of space for our group of 7. We thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking views of the mountain/valley while seated on the deck for meals. Quiet, safe neighborhood, great for early morning walk/run, close to grocery/coffee/gas. We all enjoyed a little Pac-Man competition as we grew up playing it, but admittedly with rusty skills.
It was further from our planned wineries in Napa and Sonoma than I would have preferred, but we made it work and it was certainly not their fault. On a map the mileage isnât far, but the windy roads make for a long trip and a DD if not hiring a driver/tour. We enjoyed Santa Rosa too though, which was an unexpected bonus. Lovely stay, Iâd do it again in a heartbeat.
Group of 7 adults stayed for 2 nights for a wedding down the road - house was clean, very well stocked, easy to access, easy communication with the host management company. I didn't love the additional Damage Waiver Fee - the alternative to leaving a large refundable after 30-days security deposit - but elected to pay it anyway.
3 couples of wine enjoying friends had a great week at the house. The common areas are large yet warm and comfortable. The kitchen could not be better equipped to make dinner at home and breakfast with the sun coming up in the morning (while we were still on East Coast time).
The neighborhood is quiet but inviting and the location is perfect for winery visits in Sonoma and easy access to Napa.
Would return again without hesitation.
We were there to work in the area. Needed a place to stay. House is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Easy parking and entry. Nice inside and comfortable house. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for all. Kinda strange only having one TV but we weren't there for fun so didn't really matter. A/C thankfully worked because it was in a 115 degree heat wave. The property manager was great to communicate and asked if we got in ok. Informed us that we didn't need to worry about rolling blackouts because of the smart solar. Very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend.
Property was great. House was stocked with everything you needed. Owners have gone out of their way to make sure you were comfortable. Grocery store was a mile or two away. Downtown Santa Rosa was a 10 minute drive but Ubers were easy to get. House is in a nice neighborhood and quiet. Tons of wineries close by and trips into Healdsburg, Sonoma and Napa were easy if you have a car. Great place. Thanks
I don't always write reviews but I wanted to for this home, as we had such a wonderful stay and wanted to share an honest, positive review. We were here for 6 nights for a family wedding in Glen Ellen. There were 5 adults and my 3 year old son. What a perfect place for relaxing and having all necessary items in the home.
Highlights:
1) Perfect size for multiple families. Large living room space right off the kitchen where we spent most nights relaxing. An added surprise bonus - amazing massage chair that my cousin spent hours in! ;)
2) FULLY equipped kitchen with anything you could need for cooking, coffee, children's plates, silverware, etc., basic cooking items - oils, spices, etc. plus paper plates, indoor/outdoor dinnerware sets, wine glasses, etc. etc. I can't imagine there wasn't a cooking tool or utensil not supplied.
3) Bathrooms were equipped with toiletries - such a nice surprise! (we overpacked - didn't need half of the things I brought)
4) Very quiet neighborhood. Really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The homes are close together but you would never know as it was always quiet. I took several runs throughout the neighborhood and surrounding area and it felt very safe and well kept.
5) Location - very close to many wineries. It was only 10 minute drive to multiple recommended places to visit - hiking trails, downtown Santa Rosa and a nice little outdoor shopping "mall" with some large chain stores but also several very cute restaurants and smaller boutique shops.
6) For kids - it is clear the owners have several children of their own. The house had great kids rooms with bunk beds and SO many books and toys (legos, etc.) that my son really enjoyed. The backyard has a great swingset/play area which we used every day. There was a park/playground less than a mile from the house where we brought our son as well.
7) Communication with management company - they checked in on us the night we arrived and were very responsive, although we really didn't need much as the house was equipped and we had no issues.
8) Day trips -we went to Bodega Bay which was about an hour away. Also Armstrong Redwoods, which were about 30 minutes. Very easy to get to. There were many others we could have visited within an hour if we had more time!
I would definitely recommend this home for those looking to explore wine country and have a nice, quiet, large space to come home to.
I stayed here with my husband and other family members. We had more than enough space (massive master bedroom) and the kitchen was well stocked for our BBQ. We used the BBQ grill, stove, microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot. The home was quite comfortable. The balcony was wonderful to relax on. We loved the quiet neighborhood & quick access to Safeway. There was a very special robins nest with beautiful blue eggs in the orange tree just outside of the kitchen window.
Access was easy and communication was good.
The whole experience from start to finish was smooth and seemless. The house was perfect and exactly as described. Nice neighborhood and close to downtown. Well maintained and perfect for families. We had a great time. Would definatly recommend this listing to my friends and family.
After 16 months of socially distancing, we needed a family getaway. It was the grandparents, their two sons and their families. We had an amazing time.
The house was even better than we expected! We brought board games and books for the kids, but the house was filled with books and games that we didn't even open our stuff.
The house was immaculate and spacious. The kitchen was large with everything we could need. We still have one child who cannot get vaccinated, so it was nice to be able to keep our distance from each other within the house. And it had the best check-out policy. Just lock the windows and doors on your way out!
The only issue we had with this rental is the cancellation policy. Although it says 100% refund if cancelled by x date, there actually is a 3% processing fee that is non-refundable. I found this to be misleading since it only shows up in a separate rental contract. But I don't blame the owners for this, its the management company they use.
Ultimately, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return!
I took a group of 5 women and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your property. Everything we needed was there. Comfortable beds and very roomy. Very quiet neighborhood and excellent location.
Very nicely appointed home filled with light. Particularly nice view from master bedroom. Lots of room to relax with family/friends, excellently equipped kitchen! Plenty of fluffy lux towels. The clothing steamer was very useful, and we loved the amazing espresso machine.
