AVOID THIS PROPERTY - DO NOT STAY HERE
The apartment was filthy dirty on check-in, with no towels, sheets or toilet paper. I waited several hours, repeatedly reporting the issue to an online agent (there are no staff at the property, other than security), and after 4.5 hours eventually left and booked another property. The property management company and Expedia are refusing to reimburse. DO NOT STAY HERE
The shower was the best of our 3 week trip. The bed was small, must have been a full, not a queen. The initial facial sign in was difficult, would have been impossible if we didn't speak Portuguese. Once the facial login was complete, it was the easiest thing to use. So convenient. Great location, I chose it for the pool but it was much too cold in July to go in.
Terrible communication (as in: none) regarding the security system registration and the use of the OMO Lavenderia application, which I'd recently had terrible luck with in Porto Alegre and only got working because of a friendly English-speaking resident that I met (BTW, the app is only in Portuguese, but the real problem is that it's terribly user-unfriendly). Another set of owners who think of the customer as nothing but a paycheck and do nothing that would make you feel like a valued guest.
