Very disappointing

Great location and staff. The bedroom had old stained carpeting, the matteess was old and uncomfortable, the comforter didn't fell clean. The room smelled like fried food the entire time.

Value for Money

This is my second time at the hotel. Unfortunately, this time I had a terrible experience. I know it is not a safe area in Sao Paulo and I always been very careful to walk around. This time, some robbers stole my cell phone across the street after I left the car at the parking lot. So, be always alert when you walk out of the hotel.

Hotel Bourbon Express São Paulo Downtown

Great location and great costumer service. Rooms not too spacious, but very comfortable and quiet. Do not recommend eating from the mini fridge in the rooms, because the drinks and peanuts can cost you more than the room price. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel.

Great Centrally Located Hotel in Downtown Sao Paul

A great hotel, very centrally located (express bus to airport around the corner), local transit (bus/metro). A good value too..highly recommended!

Good Hotel

Always been happy staying at this Hotel. I do ask for rooms away from the front, tends to a little noisy at night. Stayed at least 5 times in the last 2 years while passing thru Sao Paulo. Airport bus only one block away....pass travel easy.

Would stay again!

Convenient, professional and courteous staff. Desk check in staff who helped us knew English, very helpful. Cab ride to airport for 2 of us was $120 Br Reals. Cab to Anhembe Park Convention Center about $22 Br reals total for 2 of us. Great breakfast, nice evening dinner menu options, nice little bar area. We didn't try local bus or metro. Had 5th floor room - no street noise at all. Bedspread a bit tired, nice big shower, great hot water and water pressure. Would stay here again on a business trip.

Luxury in bad part of town

Very nice hotel with very good service. Felt very luxurious even though it is in a run down and rather dodgy part of central Sao Paulo.

Great hotel for visit to downtown Sao Paulo

I needed to stay one night in Sao Paulo and this was very, very nice hotel for very reasonable cost. Hotel looks really nice, service was great, breakfast also. Neighborhood may be bit noisy at night, but it was Friday night in Sao Paulo - and I suspect any downtown hotel will have the same with the usual "downtown problems". Oh, great thing on this hotel? : it is 2 minutes from bus station for buses serving the airport, so it is _very_ conveniently located if you are departing next day, as I did.

Hotel nicer than anything in area

Nice hotel, good service. I have stayed in the area many times before and I have found this place to be the nicest, most comfortable,most efficient and the most "elegant" by far. In fact, the hotel out-classes the whole neighbourhood.

BRASIL WC

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable and priced well given that it wa during the WC. The location is great, very central and near the subway and airport shuttle allowing for easy transportation. Shopping areas were in walking distance. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great hotel, not so great area

I knew of this hotel on my previous trips to Sao Paulo but never stayed there. The hotel was clean great service especially the bellboy named Denilson who spoke English and helped me through some issues. The hotel area is not so good especially at night but I knew this before I booked, I wanted this area. I will stay here again if I will be in the same area

Great hotel in area if you need a place to stay for business. Just not a fancy place. Rooms are clean, a little small but bathrom are shower are great good size and great water pressure. Plenty of hot water and towels etc

Nice hotel in heart of São Paulo

My son and I attended a World Cup game in São Paulo. We stayed two nights at the Bourbon São Paulo Hotel. The hotel is very clean, nicely decorated and maintained and only two block from the Republica metro stop. Breakfast was fine. We also ate one night in the hotel restaurant which was quite nice

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and the service is always good, as far as Sao Paulo hotels go its also very good value for money. The location shuts me too.
