We were totally happy with this vacation rental. All its features were as advertised, including the private backyard with grill and fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary tools and utensils (we think we counted four(!) blenders -- probably overkill unless you're seriously into margaritas). A key feature was the immediate neighborhood. Laurel Park calls itself Sarasota's artistic district, and that shows up in the delightful architecture of surrounding homes. Just strolling around the adjoining streets was a pleasure. The house itself is on a quiet cul-de-sac, so virtually no traffic. We'd also give it top marks for overall cleanliness.Generally when I review things I like to find at least one nit to pick, but it's not obvious what that would be. If I had to I'd point out that, while downtown is walkable, it's probably a fifteen to twenty minute stroll. But we always found it easy to drive -- Sarasota's parking is cheap and convenient. All in all, this rental perfectly filled our travel needs. We'd be happy to recommend it.
