Basic motel plus with clean rooms, a can't beat location, and enough updates in the rooms to make you believe the owners are keeping up with it. Great location for work trips to the Soo or LSSU campus.

We both thought this place was great! Right across the street to the locks. The staff were very personable and the breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, boiled eggs, sausage gravy with fresh tea biscuits!

I could tell that the owners care about the property! The room was renovated with comfortable beds and well-maintained grounds. Breakfast items were abundant and diverse, the best complimentary breakfast that I've had in a long time! Would definitely stay again, what a great deal!

Clean room, great price compared to others in the area. Friendly staff in the morning when I would get my coffee which was about 0630-0700. I was here for work and close to some good restaurants within walking distance. Lockview has a diner that was pretty good.
