Smelled of old cigarette smell, wallpaper falling off the walls, rooms are not maintained, out of state workers using it as extended housing. Gross. Checked out 10 minutes after arriving. Worst place in the UP. Gross. Waiting for Expedia to assist in getting a full refund.

NEVER AGAIN - HEALTH SAFETY HAZARDS & CONCERNS!!

Horrific stay! Hotel is unsafe, dirty and extremely outdated! Peeling wallpaper, cracked ceilings, nasty entry walkway to room. Securty lock on door broken - not usable. A/C system was soo loud, fan blades rattled all night, barely keep room at temp. One important fact the hotel doesn’t disclose is that they have indigent people living there! Exterior, walkways, and staircases full of dirt, old clothing and unemptied smelling trash cans. This place is a safety hazard and completely disgusting! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Outside condition of property is in very poor shape. Stairs to second floor are dirty, boards rotting near staircase, outside room door looked very damaged as if jimmied with, etc. Despite getting a supposedly remodeled room, wallpaper was coming off in one area, beds looked like someone had slept in them, knob was off of dresser drawer. Bathroom was updated and clean but saw two cockroaches in there. Would not recommend staying here.

The room we reserved “was not available”. We accepted another room for the same price. When we arrived at the room, the door was not shut tight and the TV was on. We should have gone back and asked for another room, but we didn’t. After we moved in, we found dirty towels under the sink and a shortage of clean towels. Someone had been sitting on one of the beds (imprints from their fanny and feet and the fitted sheet was pulled off the mattress) The security clasp on the inside of the door was broken off. The curtain hung by two hooks and did not cover the window. The toilet paper roll was nearly empty and no spare roll could be found. When we complained, we were offered another room, but we had very long day and decided it wasn’t worth moving. Our philosophy was you get what you pay for. That is our word to the wise. On a happier note, the BW had the best breakfast ever and we had access to the pool and weight room.

outside of property could use a little updating, but not horrible. The rooms themselves were very nice, and clean. It shares the parking lot with the best Western, and also must be affiliated with best Western as that’s where the continental breakfast was. All in all well worth the money as both the rooms and breakfast were a great value.

There was some confusion when I checked in. I was given key cards for a room but when I walked in the lights were on and the beds weren’t made. I had to go back to the office to get a different room. The staff was very nice and helpful though.

Fine tune the hotel.

Pool was closed in pm because of chemicals. AM 2 couples with 4 keys and pool door was hard to unlock. No lights in changing rooms at 9 am. Needs better signage to check in at Best Western across parking lot. We signed a no smoking agreement and we had to air out the room from a previous smoker.

The room was just that, a room. Super heavy perfume smell to hide something, pretty gross, but, it did the trick for a quick night's stay. I would not book that place again

The facility is elderly, but clean in the 2 units we used. There is a fair amount of sound transfer from upper to lower floor, at least with the neighbors we experienced. Breakfast at the associated Best Western was better than I expected.
