Very quaint and lovely historic hotel

Great staff. Very helpful. Super location within walking distance of the Riverfront and numerous restaurants. Very comfortable room and bed. Nice bar with great food, but weak drinks.

This interesting property is in a good location, with parking available, and convenient for local sights, shops and restaurants. We had a friendly welcome, lovely room, and nice dinner in the restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Rm 102 was very musty, dirty and black mold in ac vent , wall above it , bathroom floor, drawer in bathroom where we found wet rag used to wash sink and molded shower mat. We bagged it up and left it for housekeeping. Moved to a room in the “ guest house” 401” which was beach themed having NOTHING to do with the Inn ambiance I had booked. And black mold met us there also and our cable and ac were shut down while we still had two nights left. Poor customer service and the management takes no responsibility in the rooms as “ We don't have time to check all the rooms !” You only have 17 in the Inn perhaps do your job as manager … poor excuse for filth and black mold in the two rooms we were given… ruined a once in a lifetime vacation!

Very cool old property near everything in Savannah. The only issue was that it is run down and our room didn't have a window (I didn't think to check the reservation, I didn't know that was a thing). The room was run down and smelly really musty.

Older hotel with great history and outstanding restaurant. The owner visited with us a number of times in lobby area. Rooms are fine, older individual furnished, but need attention. Easy walk to River one way and Cathederal the other. Hotel has history of ghosts!

The history the folklore re:ghosts period perfect decor heart pine plank floors antique furnishings with updated bath. Antique locks on doors. A trip back in time and the Inn has is own restaurant. I would highly recommend

Lovely staff and active ghosties!

Our stay was delightful. The room was charming and comfortable and the staff was hospitable, friendly, and helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay great. I accidentally left behind my t-shirt wrapped up in the bedding and they called me shortly after leaving to let me know. We stayed in Room 203 and definitely had some ghostly experiences. The first night, we heard things getting knocked around in the bathroom, and the second night I felt someone sit on the edge of the bed on top of my legs. I was groggy, so initially I thought it was my cat curling up on my legs like he does every night--then I remembered I was not at home so it could not have been my cat! I felt something brush against my face and opened my eyes to find the covers had been thrown way up over my head. Upon leaving, we called out a goodbye to the ghosts and the lights flickered. Perhaps it was just electrical stuff, but who knows. We make a point of finding haunted hotels whenever we travel and this one did not disappoint. We even got an odd picture in the hallway which I will post here. Just to note, my phone has never done anything like this in a photo and maybe there is an explanation with lighting, etc. but we thought it was pretty interesting!

We absolutely loved it there and Chris and all the staff were phenomenal. Our dinner at the 1790 our last night was spectacular and we really enjoyed the time in the bar as well. This is truly a unique and wonderful place.

We had such a wonderful stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was incredible. The location is extremely walkable throughout Savannah. Would definitely stay here again!

The historic feel of the hotel was very unique and one we thoroughly enjoyed. Patrick gave us a quick tour through the homes and was very informative. The staff was also pleasant when we stopped by the bar and restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Staff was outstanding!! Food at restaurant was outstanding and the bar was alot of fun in the evening. The room was lovely, but could use a bit of an update. Bathroom lights need to be brighter. It would be nice if they would have a small corner table to put our stuff on in the bathroom and a hook on the door for our robes. I think the remote needed new batteries for the tv. No biggie though. Also if they could mabe use some sort of diffuser scents to defer the strong old smell. I do realize it's old and we loved the history behind it and all. Also loved the furnishings. But I think they can improve this a bit with these suggestions. We did enjoy staying there.
