It was exactly as expected. Comfortable beds, nice place, good location, loved having a parking spot. The Southern Belle staff were very nice and answered questions quickly. We only needed 2 bedrooms, but if you needed 3, the units are split so you are not in the same common area.

The couch in A unit is very uncomfortable. The setup is not conversationally friendly. The thermostat in A is also not user friendly. It would have been nice to have written directions. The master bedroom ceiling fan extremely squeaky and therefore unusable. On the VRBO site, I wish it had been clear that the two units were indeed separate. This was a family trip and one member had to be separate from everyone.

Overall the stay was good. The location was convenient, and parking was sufficient. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances all worked. The furniture was not comfortable to sit on in the living spaces. The beds were also not comfortable. The foam mattresses are worn out and you sink into a hole when laying on a side. The dining room light did not seem to work. We tried all the switches on the 1st level and no combination of on/off (accounting for 3-way) turned on the light. We were surprised that 602b did not have access to 602a by an interior stairway. If this was listed in the description, we missed it. Making it more obvious would be beneficial for people renting for a family with children. Luckily we were all adults.

As it looks in the picture. We had units A and B either one of the sliding glass doors could be locked, and you had to fight with them to open and shut them. Our gate on the bottom floor would not lock. We had to sweep the downstairs gateway because there were about 2 inches of leaves covering it. The floors were dirty in one of the bedrooms, and there was dirt piled up at the sliding glass doors. Very disappointed the pool is 30 minutes away and then you have to pay to park at the beach because there is no Parking available at the pool.

Nice place in great neighborhood

We loved the neighborhood and having the ability to walk to the cathedral and downtown. The two units we rented were clean and very nice.I would have given it five stars but stating that the rental had access to a pool but not mentioning the pool is 20 miles away from the property was misleading.

First time in Savannah

Property was nice overall with just an issue with master bedroom bathroom door. A maintenance visit to have it fixed right away was offered but we declined only wanting to bring it to attention. Very quiet location and we could walk to everything. Bed was very comfortable.

Sibling vacay

The home is perfectly situated close to Forsyth park and to several restaurants. Clean, modern, comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. The upstairs unit requires that you be able to do stairs as there are many to go up to the unit and then upstairs to the 2 bedrooms. The garden unit only has a few stairs and the 1 bedroom is on the main floor. We were 4 sprightly seniors so it was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay there again.

Family Getaway

This property was close to all attractions. Very quiet neighborhood and was located 2 blocks from many modes of transportation. Two blocks from the park, 2 blocks from the hop on hop off bus lines or the grey line and 2 blocks from DOT free busses. Would stay there again if visiting Savannah in the future.

Savannah 2025

Visiting from Iowa, surprised by the snow but we still had a great time. Old house didn’t quite stay warm but we found some space heaters. Also please look at rug in upstairs master bedroom. Tripping hazard for sure. Otherwise was a great place, close to Kroger. Beautiful neighborhood.

We enjoyed our rental, even though we had issues with the keyless entry of the garden unit, which required members of our party to sleep on an air mattress in our unit for one night. We will definitely stay here again when and if we visit Savannah again.
