2 days ago I was super excited to stay at this gorgeous place. From the moment we arrived was a true blessing. The greetings from the valet was very inviting. The checkin was flawless until I got to the room. I booked for a room with the view facing the river. Well that didn't happen. I spoke to the front desk to see if there was anything they could do. She replied you booked a partial view. What? After dinner and sight seeing we made it back the room and OMG there won't be any sleeping anytime soon. The walls are banging with music full of bass. I am really saddened because I have been like a big kid finally making it to this lovely location and now its heartbreaking. I would love to go back to enjoy the facility but not in that room . I don’t mind regular noise but this was extreme until after 1am. I love Savannah and looked forward to a quick romantic getaway.We also unfortunately lost my husband's prescription smart eye glasses. Geesh.

Upon arrival to Valet parking, we were told there was no luggage carts or bellhops to assist with luggage. This was untrue.. while waiting in line to check in the front desk lady very nicely brought my husband a glass of wine and completely ignored me. We prepaid for breakfast when we made a reservation upon arriving at the breakfast restaurant we were told that not only did we need to pre-pay but we needed a reservation which we did not have. And when we checked out, said prepaid fee for breakfast had magically disappeared from our bill thankfully I had a receipt to provide them and of course valet parking…. The ones who were so unhelpful when we checked in, lost our car.. the whole vibe of our treatment was you are not welcomed to here. Really disappointed.

We had an excellent stay at JW Marriott Savannah. The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the communication from staff was outstanding from start to finish. The location was perfect—convenient to everything while still feeling relaxing and upscale. We were very comfortable throughout our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Highly recommend!

The only problem i had was that I got charged $36 twice for a destination fee, 1 for each night. They gave me two cards at check in and told me the cards could be used for each night. My guest and I used the card one time and the server took the card's and would not give them back for us to use them the next night. When I told the receptionist at checkout, they gave me one card back because they said that was not right. So one card is eighteen dollars. So I lost eighteen dollars from the other card. They charged $72 in total For the destination fee and I only got to use $54 of the $72. Othee than that everything was great.
