This place is in an incredible location to experience all of what Savannah has to offer. My wife and I are both in our sixties and had no problem walking down to River Street. Unit is also very close to other shopping and restaurants including City Market. Host were incredibly responsive to any inquiries and prepared a book of recommendations that was available within the unit. My only caution to potential guests is if you have mobility issues, there are a number of steps to navigate especially if you are on the third floor.
Beautiful place. Extremely clean and walkable to everything. Only complaint is that it was a little noisy at night but I guess thatâs expected downtown. We enjoyed our stay.
I would prefer to communicate with the owner. A few things he needs to know. We enjoyed everything but he needs to have a few things checked. Do not publish this
The host was very kind and communicated with us throughout the booking and stay. We did run in to a parking problem. We were going to uber to and from airport but when we saw we had a parking pass we decided to rent a car . We knew we were doing the marathon and would not need the car the entire weekend unfortunately when we got to our place on Friday to park the car, the parking garage was closed. We were told that it would be closed indefinitely that we could check back the next day. The parking garage never opened and it cost us $60 in parking fees for the weekend. I do understand that this was not the host fault but that was one of the reasons we booked this place and we rented a car because of the parking pass
Birthday celebration for my friend was limited on some things we wanted to do because of Hurricane Helene. However, we never lost power throughout our stay. A very nice place with dual closets to put your luggage. A great shower and all the toiletries you could ask for in the bathroom. Plenty of towels provided for two nights with wash cloths as well. If you like BBQ, don't miss the restaurant right next door. We finally got to River Street and did some shopping along the way. Birthday was celebrated at Hueys (my favorite) and she loved the food and her green apple martini. Everything was convenient and the parking garage was absolutely perfect in keeping the vehicle dry and safe. Please check your bar stools in the kitchen. They are flaking off onto your floor. I just felt bad as it made a mess on the floor. Speaking for us girls, two things are missing in that beautiful bathroom. Towel hook rack that you can place on the back of the bathroom door or towel hooks to hang your towel on after getting out of the shower. Secondly, a bathroom cabinet right next to where the towels are displayed. The perfect size is what you have right next to your kitchen counter that is on wheels. It was perfect to have something to place our makeup bags on without having to carry it in/out of the bathroom each time. Minimal things and just a suggestion. In case you have medical issues, there are 40 steps to climb to get to this unit. Otherwise, highly recommend.
