Beautiful place, awesome location. We walked to everything. Loved sitting on front porch and people watching. One of best places I have stayed. Recommend highly.
Very unique property with a lot of charm. Any rental we get wonât compare with 121 Jones Parlor. Excellent and safe area of downtown. My wife didnât want to leave
Our accommodations were ideally located in the historic district close to the action without being in the middle of the action! It truly felt like a home away from home, just be aware there is a flight of stairs for the parlor. this portion of the home(parlor)
We are history fanatics and Savannah has been on our list for a long time. Enjoyed every minute
but the very cold temps especially at night were a surprise (and we are from Michigan!!). We would like to return some day God willing!
This property is everything it claims and more! The location is perfect and walking distance from everything. The decor, displayed history, spacious living area and side porch is a dream. Steps to the entry door can be difficult if that is a challenge for you, but is the only thing we saw that could be problematic for some. Don't hesitate to rent this space!
Absolutely loved it! These prior poor reviews are just nit picky nonsensical. This place was fantastic and absolutely amazing for the price!! SUPER clean, super comfy, beautifully furnished!! And a post card worthy neighborhood! Saved a ton of money this place is centrally located & we were able to walk everywhere and saved so much parking $$ and hassles. Plus the off atreet parkimg you dont have to worry about damage to your vehicle.
Only one minor request, a t.v. in the bedroom would be nice (typical gen X) too quiet to fall asleep. Definitely a visit again & make a yearly visit. Worth every cent, best vacation we've had yet.
Thank you!
All of the photos are accurate, and we had exclusive use of all of the rooms and a nice balcony overlooking West Jones Street, one of the most picturesque tree-lined streets in Savannah. AC worked well, and there were several coffee options offered. Location can't be beaten, and there were many nice touches, such as a wonderful drink serving area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We loved every minute of it. The historic home. The beautiful, comfortable furniture. The nice patio to sit out and read on. The updated bathroom, a/c and kitchen. The central placement with everything. The communication from the property owner. It was perfect. We will be back.
First off, Jones Street is full of beautiful homes and lovely architecture. This home fits right in. Home was very clean, spacious and filled with beautiful furniture. The pictures are accurate. You must use the back stairs instead of the front door, but that didnât really bother us. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered private front porch and people watching. Only thing that was a little odd is that there is a semi-frosted set of doors that look out onto the foyer which is used by the 2 upstairs units and their guests. These doors are directly across from the bathroom, so you need to be dressed when exiting the bath or walking through to the kitchen. But, we really did not have any problems and would definitely stay here again. Communication with the property manager was good.
This property was better than what we expected. It is a great property in a great location of Savanah. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the spacious porch.
WOW, loved this apartment. The place is very traditional, kitchen is fine although we did not cook at all because too many great restaurants. I loved the quirkiness of the apartment, fridge is in a hallway, sunroom with only a coffee bar in it, it made you think of how it was used in its heyday. Would love to rent again.
This property gives you the feel of being in Savannah as soon as you walk through the door. Beautifully and tastefully decorated yet cozy, comfortable seating as well. Close enough to walk to all of the Savannah highlights. Management was readily there to answer questions and assist if needed. Five plus STARS. Thank you.
This place is absolutely gorgeous. The decor is elegant and cozy at the same time. The location was close enough to walk to everything. I canât imagine experiencing Savannah any other way. A hotel could never have the same charm.
I wish I could submit pictures here. Initially the place looked good, until I heard and felt the crunch of a dead palmetto bug under foot while trying to open the curtains in the bedroom. I understood that the bugs may be around, however the place supposedly had JUST been cleaned. The bug had been dead on the floor, so I wondered if it had even been vacuumed. I then noticed the sleigh bed headboard had dust all on the top. An old bag of onions were left in a kitchen cabinet and the microwaveâs interior dish was dirty. A few other things could be mentioned as well but one can overlook. Iâm not a complainer, but when you walk into a place you want to feel at ease. I called the property manager and spoke to Wendy who tried to explain it all away. The only compensation given was to send a cleaner, but I was too exhausted and in need of a rest. She also warned me to be careful of opening and closing the curtains because they might fall. đ€ The next day I had to message Wendy because the bathroom sink was clogged. Someone was sent right away to fix it, which was good. However, when I returned back to the unit, the doors were unlocked and ajar. Positiveâs were the comfortable bed and the charm of the space itself, but I wouldnât stay again.
Beautiful property on one of the nicest streets in Savannah. Walking distance to almost everything of note in the historic district. Place was clean and had everything we could need to enjoy our stay.
Great location and beautifully furnished. The two main things I can say is the bedroom was hot. Did not matter if we kept the drapes pulled together or not but it was uncomfortable at night when sleeping. Also there is rot and visible maintenance needed in the outside of the building.
This beautiful, historic home was the perfect place to stay in Savannah. It is close to restaurants, shopping, walking/trolley tours and all those beautiful squares that offer shade under the gorgeous oaks with hanging moss. Very walkable!
Off street reserved parking was a plus. Inside the upstairs stay included a living room, dining room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, coffee bar and outside shared porch seating - very spacious with tall ceilings and southern charm decor. Will stay again!
