In the Breakfast Room the television was playing CNN. I politely asked the front desk person to change the channel. I told her that we would like to eat breakfast without any news channel on. She went to the controls in a closed room and turned the sound off. At least it was quiet, but any other channel would have been better than the news. Should.Did not need the stress of listening to BS

The room was decent, but the room was not clean. It’s almost as if no one checked on the room nor has stayed in the room. I’m very leery at sleeping in two star hotels for the reasons I have listed above. My biggest concern is insect, and I found at least 2 dead insects. Also found hair which attributes, to the uncleanliness and poor housekeeping. When I see bugs, it’s hard for me to sleep. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I was traveling for work. That was only there for a few hours so I didn’t get the best sleep.

Our stay at Wingate by Wyndham Savannah I-95 North was truly wonderful. Even though my Expedia reservation didn’t go through correctly, the staff immediately stepped in and made sure my family and I were taken care of without any stress on our end. The front desk was absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and so patient with all of my questions. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, which made such a difference after a long day of traveling. The property itself was spotless and felt very well cared for, which gave us peace of mind traveling with family. Between the cleanliness of the rooms and the warmth of the staff, it felt like they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time there. What could have easily turned into a frustrating experience was instead one of the best hotel stays we’ve had, and it’s all thanks to the people who work here. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location to anyone passing through Savannah.
