We had a wonderful stay! 4 kiddos, 4 parents, 2 grandparents. We love Mary. Kids loved the pool and big basement and we all loved the beautiful backyard. Easy drive to the dunes and lake and many other things. Highly recommend.

This very nice home, located in a secluded spot, was perfect for our large group, with comfortable sleeping quarters for all. We especially enjoyed the spacious fenced yard with multi-level decks, fire pit, and heated pool. Home was very clean; kitchen was well equipped with dishes, cooking utensils and a number of coffee-making options. Another bonus was plenty of extra towels and lots of pool/beach towels.We will be back!

5 night stay first of June

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean and comfortable. The backyard was great, fully fenced for dogs, and enough seating options to sit in shade at any time of day. Pool was warm, even on 60 degrees days. Basement though, was the highlight. Nice layout. We watched family movies on surround sound on our rainy day. Also, walkout so handy letting dogs outside. Grill was very nice for those that like grilling. Cooked all meals on it. We would definitely stay again. Very close to Warren Dunes and Weko Beach (mostly used Weko so we could walk at 6 am with dogs using the boardwalk to Warren Dunes dog park side of Weko Park).

Quick Fall Getaway

Mary's place was perfect for a weekend getaway from Chicago with friends! Just minutes from the Warren Dunes and Michigan Wine Trail, there was no shortage of fall activities. The bedroom layout was perfect for our group of 6 singles and we loved piling onto the downstairs couch after a full day. Due to the season we weren't able to take full advantage of the pool and backyard, but we hope to return in the summer for a longer stay.

Much needed fun

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home. Mary was an excellent host. We most definitely enjoyed the swimming pool! The house entertained my family with plenty of room and excellent seating arrangements. Loved the basement with the sectional and big TV. We would definitely stay here again. Thumbs up

Happy Return

This was our second summer stay at the house—enjoyed it immensely again. Layout is great with plenty of space, the fenced yard is so nice for our dog, and we enjoyed many afternoons in the pool. No issues at all with the house, it’s a wonderful place to stay.

Great House Minutes from the Dunes

We had a great stay with family. We had 8 adults with plenty of room for everyone. There are two queen beds in the large, basement bedroom, a bathroom along with a huge living room down there. Upstairs was three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, two bathrooms and a large dining table. Outside was a fenced in yard (pet friendly) and a large pool--very clean. Lots of deck and chairs for sitting. Lots of trees for shade. The house is less than 5 minutes from the Warren Dunes. We enjoyed the close by ice cream shop and a huge farm stand almost right across the street. The showers had super water pressure (I have stayed at places with low water pressure and I hate not getting the shampoo out of my hair:) Overall a great stay!

Huge pool, Private and Relaxing.

We loved this house. The backyard was such a private haven. The pool was wonderful. We were in it every day. The fenced backyard was the driving factor for our pups. No leads or leashes needed. We didn't get to do s'mores due to the extreme heat but the fire pit area was very nice.We were shocked at how close the house is to everything!! Even though we are basically local (Grand Rapids) we knew nothing about Sawyer. It is such a nice little beach town without all of the traffic and crowds. I highly recommend visiting the Sawyer Home and Garden Center. Great shopping experience. So much fun things to buy! We would stay here again for sure.

Girls Weekend

My friends and I took a long weekend together and our stay was great at this property. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Beautiful wooded lot with firepit that we enjoyed! Great big kitchen with everything you need to cook wonderful meals. Drank wine, played cards, watched football, shopped the antique markets along Red Arrow Hwy. Mary is a great hostess and very communicative!

Perfect Autumn Getaway

This is a great property! Comfortable, relaxing and close to loads of restaurant, shopping and Warren Dunes. We really enjoyed the pool, the quiet and the location. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This is our 3rd trip there. We will definitely be back!

Amazing!

Mary was very helpful. 2nd time staying at this home and we loved it. Close to other cities. The heated pool was very enjoyable. Wish there was a sidewalk to the state park. Exceeded Expectations

This was our first year vacationing with our pup and the accommodations couldn’t have worked out better for our family. It was a luxury to be able to let the pup out into the safely fenced yard as needed. On top of that, the house was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. There are a lot of little things that can be frustrating when doing short term rentals but none of those were an issue here—large, new washing machine and dryer, an outdoor grill with natural gas hookup, plenty of towels and other necessities (luggage racks! so helpful!). We can’t wait to return next summer. Thank you, Mary!

Perfect Getway For The Entire Family

This was our second stay here---the best value for your dollar in the area, hands down. Beautiful property, right by the state park and quick drives away from New Buffalo and St. Joseph. We love it here.

Red Arrow Lodge

This was a family trip, with 4 adults, 1 toddler, 1 infant and 2 dogs. My wife and I also celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary during our stay. We took full advantage of the many areas of the home, both inside and out, especially the pool, fire pit, back deck and front porch. We enjoyed several outings to wineries, a brewery, coffee shop, the Lake at Warren Dunes State Park, a farm (picked berries), hiking and many other places during the week. Took full advantage of the very well stocked kitchen and didn't bother to turn on a television one time. It was just that much fun, mixed with relaxing and adventures.

Celebrating 50 with the family

We stayed to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary along with my 50th birthday. Wink wink. They were married 50 years in January and my brother and I purchased this June getaway for them. It just so happened to fall on my 50th birthday weekend so we celebrated that as well. The property was beyond expectation everything we needed was there and Mary was very responsive and answering any and all questions my parents were so impressed when they arrived that they called Mary right away to express their pleasure with the residence
