The screen door would not open and close. It would get stuck and we were unable to get out. The guest above us also had the same problem. Our curtain that keeps the sunlight out wouldn’t work. We would try to pull it close but it would move a little then get stuck in that position. It was so frustrating as we were trying to go out the door to go to the beach and we were not able to use that door. The guest bedroom closet door was also broken. It wouldn’t close all the way. I paid a lot of money for this weekend so we could reflect on my mom’s passing and everything was like staying at a Motel 6. I was so disappointed! We only stayed here because we have been coming here every Mother’s Day weekend with my mom to have a Mother and Daughter weekend together. Unfortunately, a few years ago she fell ill. I guess this is when at the time the family owned hotel sold it. We hadn’t been back since, so not knowing it was under new management I made reservations in memory of my mom, to spend time with my daughters, and reflect on my mom’s passing. Unfortunately, the hotel has gone downhill. Probably best considering the circumstances. We won’t be returning!

The bed ruined it for me.

We had to get our room key from another property, so that was a little inconvenient. I think I’d rather have an onsite staff overall. The room was good, but the bed was not. I hardly slept and was uncomfortably achy the next day. I think the discomfort of the bed will deter me from staying again to be honest.

A cozy, quiet stay

This was a cozy stay! The beds are extremely comfy, the place was clean & the fireplace hit just right. Although you have to check in at a different property, it’s right around the corner & the lady who helped me was super kind. A very laid back experience, which was appreciated. The beach is a short walk through several cleared trails in the grassy knoll. The property was also the perfect distance from the busier part of Seaside allowing for a quiet, less people environment.

Beautiful location! Nice short walk to beach and downtown. Quiet location. That’s about the only remaining thing I can find. Upon arrival we walked in and the smoke detector had low batteries. It was doing a loud chirp every 3 min and took nearly 45 minutes to get someone over to change it. The shower wall had some large blonde hair wads (not ours). Our room had a strange layout and was clearly converted into a room. No hooks in the bathroom for towels, no light in the closet, poorly hung headboard that literally falls off the wall, strangely high up outlets (like 6ft up) and paper thin walls. Will be our first and last stay.

It was lovely, clean and a comfortable bed. Only problem was the door lock didn’t work correctly and with no front desk it was a challenge. A kind workmen on the site helped us and eventually brought us a key. They were trying to be so accommodating. We were set in no time.

Hotel was very nice. It had an ocean view, was a fair price, and was located right on the prom. I enjoyed my vacation here very much. 10/10 experience and I recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Seaside.

Mom and Sisters Getaway

B E A UU TI FUL. Great quiet location, spacious and awesome views. Very clean. Nice outdoor lounging area. Pretty walk to The Prom. Our room slept six, there was just four of us, but there were only two chairs at the table and only two chair on our personal deck. We would definitely recommend this beautiful Inn.

Not a 1 min walk to the beach

Beautiful little hotel, in great shape. However, the website says it's a one minute walk to the beach. Absolutely not true. You have to walk about 300 yards from the street to even get onto the beach. That was very disappointing because I have mobility issues and I Splurged for oceanfront thinking I could easily access the beach. Photo is from room. That's how far from the beach you are.

The furniture in the room is very dated, the bed squeaks so loud! We couldn't get Netflix to load on the TV, the WIFI was very slow and spotty... Location is convenient though and the view from the room is awesome!
