The location was a big plusâless than a mile from Dollywood and inside a private, gated resort with a secure entry code. Just be aware the road to the cabin is very steep, so a 4WD vehicle is highly recommended. The cabin included some basics like pots, pans, and a coffee pot, but it was missing many of the essentials that make a stay convenient. No coffee filters, no salt or pepper, and no ice machine. I brought both K-cups and ground coffee, but without filters, neither was usable. Food delivery wasnât available either, which was frustrating.Towels were another issueâjust one small, old towel per person with no extras, and nothing provided specifically for hot tub use. The hot tub itself had plenty of posted rules, including a sign saying youâd be charged 400 if you broke the spa coverâbut the cover was already old, moldy, and broken when we arrived. There were no simple instructions for using the hot tub either, which wouldâve been helpful.Although the cabin is advertised to sleep 8, it didnât offer enough comfortable seating for even the 4 of us. The main couch was a springy pull-out bed, and seating was tight. While there was a pool table, it felt like wasted spaceâwe wouldâve much preferred more cozy, functional furniture instead. To make matters worse, I messaged the host with a question and never got a response. That lack of communication really impacted the experience.Overall, the location is fantastic, but the cabin needs updates to be truly guest-ready
