Beautiful cabin! Beautiful view! Plenty of room for family. Small issue, one bathtub continued to drip when shutoff. But it did not cause a problem. We had a wonderful time!!
Everything was good except the deck and furniture on the deck was covered in saw dust. We had to clean off the rails and furniture to sit. Parking wasnât the best for four vehicles but all was good. We had a great vacation.
Our trip was a Christmas gift for our grandparents with their kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. We had a wonderful time. The location is great- away from all of the hustle and bustle but a short drive if want to find something to do. We had 6 bear right under our porch so that was the exciting part of the stay for the kiddos!
Beautiful cabin and more than enough room for our family and their little families. The view was beautiful. Kitchen was fully stocked. Cleanliness I gave it an 4 out of 5 stars due to toilets being dirty and could probably use a deep cleaning. But overall I would rent again.
The house was exactly as expected. The only reason I canât give 5 stars is because the box spring of the bed in the loft was broken and pretty much unusable. We notified the property manager and they responded very quickly that it would be fixed the coming week.
We loved the house and the space but, whoever cleans definitely missed a lot! We swept and moved one couch and looked like a years worth of crumbs and trash was under it! And in the cushions.
Excellent place to stay in the Smokyâs. Loved the deck and chairs to enjoy morning coffee or relaxing afternoons. Good central location to enjoy all the amenities. We had bear visits regularly. One even came up on the deck and peek into our cabin through the glass. We would have enjoyed more lighting on the deck in the evenings. Owner said it was a bad breaker, but electrician never made it out to repair. Other than that, a great place for multiple families.
The directions to the property were very accurate. The driveway to the cabin was very steep! We couldnât check in on time because the washing machine broke and flooded the floor, but they were working very hard to clean it up. They warned us about an active bear in the area and we did see one! The main floor a/c wasnât working and they couldnât get it fixed til the day we checked out. They gave us a partial refund which we accepted.
Location is nice. The house is outdated had mold in the bathroom. Told the property manager never heard back from him. Also, the showerhead had corrosion or mold on them as well. The cleaners did not get done cleaning the house until 11 PM. Therefore I lost the day and I feel like I shouldâve been compensated for that and the mold because I wouldnât let anyone stay in there also none of the lights outside worked he said that he will come back in the morning and get that taken care of never heard from him again...
I was very disappointed with my stay at this cabin. When I arrived, the place was dirty and clearly hadnât been cleaned from the previous guests. Even after contacting the owner, the cabin wasnât cleaned until two hours after my scheduled check-in time. Although I was told the cabin would be ready by 3:30 PM, it wasnât. The cabin itself is in need of a deep cleaning and proper maintenance. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.
Property has a resident bear, which was very cool. Caution if you have little ones, he did come up on porch as we were trying to load cars.
Everything adequate. Property was surface clean, but badly needs a deep clean. Lots of dust on trim surfaces and under fridge. Beds were not all comfortable and some pillows were like laying head on a rock.
Says games, but only games were on xbox, which we could never get to work, as well as tv in basement game area. Pool cue tips need replacing. Hard to play when cue chalk would not even stick to tip.
A very memorable and wonderful stay at the Amazing Memories Lodge. Great place with great views with short 25 mins drives to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Hosts were very responsive to our questions thoughout our stay.
Beautiful view from porches and many of the rooms. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, utensils, pots, keurig (did not use) toaster; did not find a griddle or fry pan for pancakes. Had 2 dinners at the house & 3 dinners out. House was not clean upon arrival, three housekeepers arrived around 5pm & were done in a couple hours. House could stand a deep cleaning - shower curtain bottoms & tub jets had pink mold; downstairs game area with bunk beds & laundry & 2 bedrooms air not quite as fresh. We used the outdoor hot tubđ. The outdoor gas grill was not cleaned & parts broken; the broken dishwasher was never fixed. There was a bad smell under the sink next to the dishwasher. One in our party scrubbed the plastic dish drainer & we hand washed dishes during our stay. We had brought a few extra dish towels. Overall we enjoyed our time in the house & the Smokies; we all saw one bear on the front porch (we were all inside the house already) & a couple of us saw a fox early the next morning. Appreciated the location near Townsend aka the peaceful (quieter) side compared to Gatlinburg. Made a number of trips into the Park as a whole family & in small groups. Many in our family used the pool a short drive away- which also offers a fishing pond for children & their family. Again overall we had a great time there.
Overall, our family enjoyed their stay. The house was nice and we had plenty of space when we had to be inside due to rain. The air conditioning didn't work the first 2 days but it was soon repaired. I submitted to emails to the owners about the 10% discount for teachers, and 1st reponders but never got a response.
