Property was spacious with all the basic necessities. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We had a minor issue with the power being out, when we arrived. Host was quick to get the problem taken care of and offered to move us, if the problem continued. Only negative would be that you are close to a main road and can hear the traffic. We enjoyed our stay.
House was one level which was great for kids, close to town but yet quiet around the house! No propane for the grill, and shower needs to be fixed, other than that is was a great place for the family and we look forward to visiting again.
When you book a stay in a cabin in Pigeon Forge youâd expect it to be in the beautiful Tennessee mountains. This cabin is located about 40 feet from the road on a busy roadway. Traffic noise is substantial waking us up throughout the Night. It was also very dirty. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere. There were also ants throughout the cabin. The cabin sleeps 14 but the pots and pans were so small that cooking for that many is nearly impossible. The coffee pot was outdated and really didnât make coffee. The televisions didnât work, neither did the WiFi. Overall it looks great in pictures but if youâre looking for a relaxing getaway in a nice cabin in Pigeon Forge, keep looking.
This house is one level, spacious and big! There was plenty of room for my family to spread out. The air in the house was amazing! For June in TN the house never got hot or stuffy. Hot water was never an issue. The rooms are big and decorated, so cute. Only down side, we are a family that loves to cook together, itâs our bonding time. The kitchen was lacking in the pots/pans but we made it work. There were no kitchen towels so bring your own. Dollar General is your neighbor, so you can get things you need. We knew by reading former post that this house is on a busy highway. Wears Valley Road is busy from about 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. Bring a fan or a sound machine for those sleeping in the front two rooms. Besides the noise from road the house is in a prefect location to get to the hiking trails and Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.
Gorgeous Mountain Viewâs with comfortable beds and lots of space. We bought a corn hole game and used the outdoor spaces too. The pool in the listing is a public pool and was too busy for our liking. The hot tub was a nice surprise. We also had to purchase a bigger pan to cook for our group but other than that really liked being far enough away from the busy strip to enjoy the view and scenery with also being close enough to go to shows when we wanted.
We had a wonderful time celebrating the end of the year in Pigeon Forge. Upon entering the property we noticed there were shoe prints going throughout the house (the front ramp was salted and everything was easy to track inside, we assumed this was from someone doing a last minute walk though of the home) but other than that the property was clean. The house is located right on the road! So you can hear every vehicle passing by which we werenât aware of. Also only one bedroom has an attached bath, the remainder of the restrooms are close to the kitchen. We like how there was plenty of seating in the main living area and very comfy furniture. This home is located about 20-25 minutes from the main strip in Pigeon Forge. If youâre looking for a cabin closer to town this one is not for you. We did enjoy our stay though and would consider staying here again if it wasnât for the longer drive to town. The men on our trip were very pleased with the decor and mounted animals⊠the architecture features of the ceilings are also beautiful!
Everything was excellent besides had issues with air-conditioning. The lodge has 2 air conditioners. Had issues with one. They had some out to fix it right away. Next day other unit had problems. Management told us repair man was just here when we told them other unit was having issues.
The house was nice! Itâs right next to the main road and the front 2 rooms you hear all the traffic. I thought the pictures were well taken and make the house look bigger than it is. I also didnât realize itâs right in front of the rvs and tiny houses! Overall itâs close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Easy to get to all the attractions and Mountains. Other than location for us it was great. The only cleanliness complaint we had we shared with the owner and Iâm sure they will fix it.
It was amazing. The pictures speaks volume. Everything was great and so many activities just minutes away. I will definitely be back this time when it is warmer.
Was a great cabin except only one cap worked on stove which made fixing food for 9 people very difficult. Customer service very nice And offered to fix stove when we realized 3rd cap not working but we really didnât want to spend evening with repair guy. Cabin very close to road and strangers do walk up to door thinking it is a business and not just a cabin. We kept chain up but did not deter some people. Perhaps better signage on the cabin. We asked for an hour later check out due to stove issue but was told not possible which surprised me. She said he knew what was wrong and Iâm thinking if you knew, why was it not fixed prior to our stay and you wonât give me an hour? That was disappointing.
My husband and I booked this stay for us and some friends and family. We were unable to go due to having covid, but our friends and family really enjoyed the stay. Mike was very quick to respond to our messages and accommodating when we had to switch who would be checking in.
Great place lots of sleeping places for large family such as ours. Just 6 miles from all the museums and attractions. It was confusing however, pool is not in the same complex it's a mile and a half drive to the pool. And also was big dissapintment, doesn't have to do anything with management company just the location, there is no food deliveries to the address, with big family and kids easier to just order delivery and while there are close by places to eat, but none deliver to the address. That was kind of big deal.
Nice clean property. Kitchen is small, Hot tub was added bonus. It is right off the main road but overall totally worth it. Nice bedrooms, clean property and staff is helpful
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is spacious and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything that you need to prepare meals. The view on the back deck is beautiful and the hot tub was relaxing
Location was perfect....away from the busy area, but still within a short driving distance to all Pigeon Forge attractions
Only issue was some small ants in one of the bathrooms and the landscaping in the front of the cabin could be cleaned up a little.
We definitely recommend this cabin and would book it again.
The main issue I had was the bugs and ants. There were little ants crawling everywhere, in the counter and on the floor. This place is an old museum turned into a house. So the light switches in the house are very confusing. Itâs a little weird setup because of how the house was made. Thereâs a bedroom built directly off the kitchen. It looks like thereâs 2 separate houses made into one. Overall, itâs an okay place.
