The swimming pool was not operational. I received a communication from the host requesting an additional charge of 100 per night for pool heating, citing that the pool heater feature was not selected during the checkout process. I booked through VRBO, where this option was not available. The property was advertised with an indoor heated pool, which was the primary factor in our decision to select this cabin, leading us to choose this property despite a higher cost.Upon initial contact with the host, I was informed of the additional charge. Subsequently, I contacted VRBO, who assured me the issue would be resolved.Approximately two hours later, I received a message from the host indicating that a vendor would be arriving to inspect the pool. (Initially, I was informed that the pool simply needed to be activated.)The vendor assessed the pool and stated he needed to retrieve a small part and would return.After a period of 4-5 hours without an update, I contacted the host again and was informed that the pool was broken and could not be repaired.
