Our stay at 4267 Alpine Ridge Way fell short of expectations. The steep gravel road leading to the cabin is in terrible shape. Without AWD or 4x4, youâll likely get stuckâI had to pay 125 for a tow. The host mentioned recent rain damage, but the road got worse each trip. The cabin wasnât very clean on arrival. The grill was filthy, the hot tub jets barely worked, and the air hockey table didnât function at allâvery disappointing for our kids. To the hostâs credit, they were responsive and sent someone out. We were told the hot tub was fixed (it wasnât) and the air hockey table would be repaired for the NEXT guest, which didnât help US.Other issues included a tiny child-sized pool table with mismatched balls, a toaster oven with unreadable settings, and pots and pans that were scratched, burnt, and unusable even after cleaning. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and the loft bedroom stairs were dangerousâmade of uneven logs with no railing half way up/down, requiring you to climb sideways. Definitely not kid-friendly.Lighting throughout the cabin was very dim, making it hard to see in most rooms.Overall, while the host was polite and responsive, the property needs serious maintenance and safety improvements before it can be considered a quality rental for the price.
Had a lovely stay at this mountain home. The location is very good and very private. Though you are up in the mountains you can still get foo delivery. It was exactly as described in the listing and everything worked perfectly. We would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to come back to the area. Unfortunately we did not time our foliage trip correctly but a beautiful area nonetheless
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin was clean and had most of the essentials that we needed for the week. The communication with the owner was good and we had no issues during our stay. The cabin was comfortable and relaxing and had everything we needed for a wonderful week. If we are ever in the area, we will stay again.
This was a great property to get away from all the noise and hustle of day to day life. This cabin was super cute and accommodating for my disabled father. Games for family time and a beautiful view! Hosts were very communicative and responsive. They offered a list of things to do in the area that helped us tremendously. Thank you Shamrock cabin
The property was quiet and well maintained. The hosts did an excellent job providing any information that applied to our stay. I will be rebooking in the future!
1st morning we stayed there septic tank backed up just from doing dishes. After that everytime we used the upstairs bathroom it came out in the downstairs bathroom. Plumber was called pulled nothing out. Tried again downstairs bathroom after pulling out his a plastic bag that he told us was there for a while we are getting charge with now. He also mentioned to us he was just over at the place next to us for plumbing issues too! What a joke! Never again will i stay at any of them places. Would give no stars if that wax an option
This is a beautiful property on a scenic mountainside. Everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was furnished with pretty much everything you need
Staying at this property was truly amazing. The Cabin and the views were even better than the pictures showed. The attention to detail in the cabin with furniture and decorations was more than I could have asked for! Lots of places to spread out to relax without feeling on top of each other. The host was super communicative - before, during, and after. They truly cared about us having a great experience and making sure everything was up to our (and their) standard. Many times I never even hear from a host besides the info on access and rules. The hosts do allow pets (I took mine) but it was kept up and cleaned so nicely that you wouldnât expect pets to be allowed. Some other pet friendly rentals I have had are not held to this standard, and let some cleanliness slip to blame on pets. If I had not known This cabin allowed pets I would not have known based on staying there. When I need another rental, I hope Cale and Delaney have a property in the area suited for my visit!! They were the best host Iâve ever had and I donât say that lately. I have given others 4-5 stars before I wish I could give them and this property 10. They have definitely set the bar high for my future rentals. I highly highly recommend staying at any of their properties.
We had an awesome stay! The cabin comfortably fit our family of 7 and a dog. The location was about a 25-30 min drive to the attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved the privacy of being in a cabin with a beautiful view and the games were a hit with the kids. Plus, we all enjoyed the private hot tub. The hosts are awesome with communication and provided great suggestions about the area. The drive to the cabin is up a curvy road and the gravel/dirt path is slightly bumpy, but with taking it slow you could make it with ease. Definitely better than staying in a hotel or inner city location!!!
The cabin was very nice but it was wss was a 30 to 40 minute drive into town. This information is needed. We had tickets to a show but didn't go because we didn't feel comfortable driving back at 10 pm. It was easy to get into with my wheelchair but the living room has so much furniture it was hard to move around . We enjoyed our vacation but wish it had a few changes
Beautiful home with and amazing view. Very secluded and private which was what I was looking for. Property owners were great! They checked in frequently to see if there were any problems or needs. This cabin was great due to being out and away from all the hustle and bustle of everything. A great place to unwind and unplug.
Beautiful views. Owner responded quickly to an issue we had that was no fault of the owners. Cabin is up in the mountains so keep that in mind when booking. The views make the drive worth while. Overall great cabin and trip.
This was a great property for what we needed six of us went. And it was close enough to town (30 min.) that we could go and enjoy everything. Definitely be picky about the vehicle that you bring it is a gravel road into the property, which they do mention in the description.
The cabin was perfect for us. My 15 year old loved having her own area in the loft. My mom stayed in the master bedroom. I stayed down stairs in the game room, which opened up to a deck with the hot tub and grill. And my youngest daughter (5) thought it was fun to sleep in a different spot each night. The view is even better in person! Thereâs a couple neighbors, but you canât see a single one from the deck. Only once did I see a neighbor long enough to wave at. A few people mentioned the twisty roads and rocked road at the end⊠but I drove a Malibu and did just fine. Drive slow and remember â youâre not getting any views without a few twists and turns. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing Tennessee trip, thatâs also within 30 minutes of all the major attractions.
Host were very responsive, cabin was overall clean and as described. The stairs to the loft were steep and in my opinion dangerous for younger kids, otherwise our stay was perfect! Thank you for having us!
This is a beautiful cabin and great for the whole family. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub and the many games provided by the host. The wood pellet grill on the back deck is amazing and now that will be on my Father's Day wish list. It is a bit off the beaten path and it does take time to get to the main attraction areas, but we knew that in advance. The last road is gravel and a little rough, drive slow. Overall, it was a great vacation experience.
This cabin was easy to find even in the dark. We loved the welcoming feel of it all. This is a quiet area, as what we wanted. Sitting in the hot tub, listening to the owls and bugs at night was so relaxing. The master-bedroom king size bed was so comfortable. We sleep on a Sleep # and thought we werenât gonna be happy and was very surprised by the great sleep we both received. The owners have a quick response to any question you have. I loved that they emailed us to see if we settled back in at home and if we had a great time. We will be booking with this owner again, hopefully in the same cabin or in 1 of their cabins they have. Thank you Mr & Mrs. Cale Delaney for a wonderful , realaxing stay. It felt like home.
We were so excited for our trip to Tennessee to enjoy the mountains and areaâs attractions. This house was perfect , nestled into the mountains with lovely views and a great drive to all three local towns Seveirville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge . A great launch pad for touring the Great Smoky Mountains. Our kiddos loved the loft and the house was so comfy, cozy and just right for our family escape.
The host was amazing, responsive, and understanding. We had everything we needed.
It was relaxing and beautiful. The drive up to the cabin was scary the first time because Iâve never driven in the mountains before, but after that it was a breeze.
I was looking for RELAXATION! Our usual day to day routine is BUSY. This place was exactly what I needed. The screened in sunroom area was amazing on the glider furniture, listening to outdoor critters and especially the rain. So beautiful and relaxing. The mini pool table was fun in the evenings and my daughter and I played lots of games of GoFish with the playing cards provided. My children enjoyed the air hockey table downstairs, and we all enjoyed the hot tub outside, which is very private! The owners are great to accept our dogs in (German Shepherd and Labrador). So many that claimed to take pets with a fee would have in parenthesis (no larger than 25 or 50 lbs) or even (no pit bulls or German Shepherds) which I found preposterous. These owners do not do that. They charge you the low price of $50 per pet per night and will ask questions about the dogs, of course, but that's it. I feel the need to mention this due to the issues we had finding cabins that accepted ALL dogs! The porch downstairs with the hot tub was perfect for all of us to hang out with the dogs bc there was a gate to keep them on the porch with us. The dogs enjoyed the sun room as well. We had all cooking utensils we needed, it was clean when we got there, and the communication with the owners was great. The review that mentions all of those horrible things in the cabin couldn't all be true bc I saw NONE of those things. Everything worked as it is supposed to. 4 wheel drive might be a good idea, however, I drive a Toyota Camry and managed. If it is snowy, 4 wheel drive for sure! Wonderful property and I would definitely stay here again!
Loved this property, great sunrise view off kitchen, clean, plenty of pots, pans, also offers blender and hand mixer, both came in handy. Owners very easy to communicate with, we had no issues except a week was too short.
When we got to the Cabin, everything seemed fine. We unpacked, went downstairs to play air hockey, sat on the couch which is also a sofa bed was SOAKED in beer. Under the downstairs bed we found half eaten fruit. In the loft where my children slept they found a vape under the bed. The shower in the main living area was broken ( this was fixed the next day). The jetted tub leaked through to the downstairs. The cabin was NOT cleaned. I did reach out to the owner to let them know, and it was said that it was cleaned but the previous renters messed up the cabin. Thankfully we were only there at night, we were unable to use the jetted tub because I was afraid of causing a fire, water was filling the light fixtures downstairs. These things need to be addressed. We will not be staying in this rental again.
