We had a nice overall stay and enjoyed the property. It was comfortable and met our needs for the trip. One thing to note is that a few of the photos in the listing were a bit misleading and didnât appear to be directly on the property, which was disappointing. The cleanliness was okayânot spotless, but not anything that made our stay uncomfortable. The owners were very responsive and super kind whenever we had questions.Overall, it was a good experience and weâd still recommend it to others looking for a pleasant place to stay.
Yes it was very nice. The couch the end next to the love seat was it broken down or something was wrong with it and then the love seat the end that was next to the couch was the same way they can opener didn't work and the silver part on the bottom of the stove is not up there like it belongs other than that everything was great we loved it
We stayed to celebrate our granddaughterâs 5th Birthday and visit to Dollywood. The house was beautiful and spacious. It was super clean and beds were really comfortable.
This cabin was a great size for our group of eight! It was clean and cutely decorated. We loved the outside amenities and the amount of outdoor seating. Be prepared for a very very bumpy ride once you get to the gravel road. One person in our group drives a Kia stinger and was a little skeptical of driving up and down the gravel drive unless absolutely necessary. The hot tub had LOTS of chemicals in it and one of the ladies had to get out of it because she felt it was hard to breathe. Due to the heat only two of our group even tried to use it so all in all that was no biggie. We loved the scenery with this place!
When we checked into the cabin, the cabin was hot. It was 81. We called Cheryl. she had a service company come out the next day. They looked at the unit and said it needed to be changed out. It could not be fixed. I explained to Cheryl that me and my sister were both on permanent Oxygen and could not live without her conditioning Cheryl immediately brought us an 8000 BTU unit portable air conditioner. And she said thatâs all she can do for now till she talks to the ownerBut that would not get us through the night so I went to Home Depot and bought a 12,000 BTU portable unit so my sister had air conditioning at a cost of 500 Cheryl called us back after talking to the Owner he said if we moved out now he would give us our money back for the remaining days and we could find it somewhere else to stayAnd is handicap as my sister and I are moving wasnât an option packing everything up and moving somewhere else that I wasnât sure where that would be so we just stayed and made the best of it other than air conditioning issue. It was a beautiful home when it cooled down a night we could come out of our bedrooms and enjoy the house and the front porch if we want to thank Cheryl for doing the best she could for us and making our stay as pleasant as possible
The cabin was perfect for my family trip that always includes the fur babies. Peaceful, beautiful setting and plenty of room on the inside for everyone to have their own space but also hang out together. The driveway is definitely something to be aware of but it's doable without too much of an issue. If you are like us and taking your dogs on family vacation is a must - this is a perfect option!
Your VRBO was absolutely perfect ! We had our son's wedding at Peal of the Valley and we had the perfect location closest to the venue. I wish we could have stayed longer. The decor was awesome. I would have liked a few more hooks to hand garment bags and things. Maybe just inside of the bedrooms or outside the closet doors. We will definitely return !!
Everything was meticulously planned and thought out to accommodate any age range of group (itâs so hard to find nice rentals that are safe and friendly for toddlers!). I canât say enough amazing things about the space â you can stay here your whole trip and be so at peace , or you can take a beautiful drive to town and have endless amounts of entertainment for anyone. We will return in the future and bring along friends to share this amazing find!
We enjoyed staying at the cabin. Off the beaten path but the quiet of mornings on the porch sipping coffee made it worth it. Beds are very comfortable and the four bedrooms made sure everyone had their space. Appreciated the multiple tvs. The grandkids loved the game table and the hot tub was a hit as well. Would recommend.
Private, comfy, safe, and fun place to gather and spend time with your family. Hosts are helpful and responsive to needs. The only complaint we had in our group was the a/c not cooling well during the day. We stayed for Easter weekend. Highs were in mid 80s. Lows in 50s.
The cabin was AWESOME!! We stayed here on a family vacation and it was perfect for our group. The inside is newly renovated and had plenty of amentities. Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!!
The check in process was easy and clear. Like a few other reviews state driveway was a little bumpy. Going into this knowing that made it easier to maneuver. I was driving a Nissan Sentra and had no trouble getting up and down it. Very clean space. Beds and couches very comfortable. Biggest plus was all rooms are on one level. Only stairs was to and from the vehicles and fire pit. The porch is huge and we stayed out there most of the time during the day. Also another big plus was not hearing other vehicles pass bu
The property is nestled peacefully on the side of a mountain. Sunsets were amazing. Having everything on one floor made things very convenient, especially with a one year old and a two year old. Each bedroom was very cozy and had additional seating. The loveseats in the king and one queen room fold out into a comfortable twin.Extra blankets and towels were helpful. The hot tub was amazing on the screened in porch, and so was the ping pong table, pool table, and air hockey table, and darts. The firepit and grill were very nice and surrounded by plenty of chairs to enjoy the evening. The porch had rocking chairs and plenty of activities for everyone of all ages to enjoy. I did message the owner during our stay and she immediately called and answered my question. She was so polite and helpful and truly wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We were not very far from town, but far enough that it was quiet. No other cabins were viewable from this cabin.
If youâre looking for a beautiful, spacious, secluded and still close to town cabin, this is it. Definitely recommend 1,000%!!!
Even though hurricane Helen came through during our stay, we had a great trip. Internet went out for a few hours, but it was back in no time. The property manager was easy to talk to and was generally looking out for us knowing of the storm that was coming through.
