Great weekend!!

We came up from MS for a church convention, and because I have a 1 year old who’s never been in a road trip before, I decided to find a condo/cabin for him and me and my mom. My brother, his gf, and her 3 year old also stayed with us. The cabin was perfect for us. The furniture was different than the pictures, but Darrell made me aware of that in our initial communication. When we got there, music was playing on an Alexa speaker. Everything was clean and the beds were super comfy. We actually made lasting memories there. My brother proposed to his gf on the deck the night we got there. It was the perfect setting. My son stood up on his own and stayed standing without holding onto anything for a full 30 seconds in the kitchen, which he’s never done before, so that was awesome. The only thing we didn’t like was the parking was tight. It fit our two vehicles, but because of the chimney, whoever parked next to it couldn’t open the door next to it. We made it work though, so it was fine. Douglas lake area is perfect for a quiet getaway. I’d definitely recommend the cabin to others, and we will keep it in mind for next year. Thank you Darrell for a lovely weekend!

Great Mountain Stay

The house was perfect for our family of six. Came to the are for a family reunion but there was so much to do in near by Pigeon Forge. The cabin has ample kitchen smallwares which was very helpful. Loved the loft game room and large wrap around porch.

Vacation with friends

We had a great time while staying at Lazy Bear Hideaway. The manager Darrell was great to work with. Everything at the cabin was very nice. We loved our time there and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

A perfect spot to unwind and relax

The. Cabin is a great spot to unwind and relax. It is in a great location. Not to far from town and not far from the lake or pool. The host had snacks, pop and wine waiting for us which we found to be very thoughtful. Our host checked in on us to be sure we were comfortable and to see if we needed anything. He responded very quickly to any questions we had. We could not have asked for a better host. I would highly recommend this property.

The cabin is about 20-30 minutes from Pigeon Forge, far enough away from the busyness of the city, but not too far. Darrell is wonderful to work with, understandable and flexible.

THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BOOK!!!

Could not say enough good things about this cabin. Everything looks brand new. The owners have done an incredible job decorating and having amenities like a pool table and an arcade game machine. The wrap around porch was the perfect spot to watch the sunset after grilling out. Look no further, this is where you want to book!

The cabin was cute and had lots of amenities. The deck was great for relaxing and well furnished. The lake is very nice, and there is a nearby boat dock. Lots to do in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Wonderful Cabin

My Family and I truly enjoyed our stay. My children moved the arcade system and the pool table and the location was wonderful. Just a shirt drive away from all things Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We will defiantly stay again!

Awesome location!

Great experience staying at this location! The cabin was very clean and cozy! There were games for the kids to play and DVD’s to watch. Our kids loved playing the arcade games and playing pool. We loved waking up early and having breakfast on the deck. We spent a lot of time on the deck, enjoying the views. We will definitely be back.

Clean & comfortable!

This cabin is beautiful & very clean. Everything you will need & then some is in this cabin, it’s visible that a lot of thought went into it. The back covered porch was our favorite spot to be while sipping coffee & listening to the sounds of nature. The beds & furniture were very comfortable. The location was just a short drive out of town- easy to get to any restaurant or attraction. Felt very private & peaceful. The owners were very helpful from the day I accidentally booked the wring dates until I checked out. You can tell they care & would take care of any issue that would arise. Everything with our stay was great. I love that both bedrooms have attached bathrooms. Playing games they left, pool, & pac man was nice at the end of our very busy day. This is the most “at home” I’ve felt away from home. Thank you for everything! I highly recommend this cabin

Little piece of Heaven

The Cabin was just as I expected. The pictures were spot on, and everything was neat as a pin. The decor was very cute. There was a lovely Goodie basket and a bottle of very tasty wine for us upon arrival. The only thing I can say negative is that the bed could have been a bit softer for my taste, but all in all it was comfortable enough. It is nothing that would keep up from staying again. Owner was very responsive and answered my only question in a timely manner. Very pleased with our stay!!! Can’t wait to return!!

Great Family Vacation At The Cabin!

Just returned from staying five nights at the cabin with my family and had an amazing time. The cabin is exactly as it appears in the posting and a wonderful vacation setting. The location is beautiful and secluded, yet close to a lot of the attractions in the area. There seemed to be everything available at the cabin to accommodate our needs and plenty of room for us to stay comfortably to enjoy the great amenities that it has. Everything was in great condition and we enjoyed our stay thanks to everything that the cabin offers. The owner left us wood for the fireplace and we found a gift basket when we arrived, which we greatly appreciated since it made us feel welcome and set the right tone for our stay. After reviewing a lot of properties prior to reserving, I feel that I could not have made a better choice in selecting a cabin to spend the end of year holidays with my family!
