First visit to Shamghai

First time to Shanghai, hotel is located near a station which makes moving around the city a littler easier. Concierge service is good especially with a team of friendly and enthusiastic staff members. However, it was difficult to find food in or near the hotel areas, which is rather inconvenient for overseas travellers.

The stay is just so-so, for a 5-star hotel, I would certainly expect better "breakfast". The food is not very fresh; the deep-fried dough sticks 油条 is so hard like rocks, and there is only one choice of cheese. Should really improve

This was my third time but first time after Covid. Room was spacious and quiet, reasonably conditions considering the age. Kettle was very clean which was a surprise. Bed was firm but not too firm. Towels were without detergent smell. In general I am happy with my this 7 nights stay. Where to improve: have a table sign during breakfast so guests and staff know if table is occupied. Gym equipment to be repaired if damaged.
