Location, atmosphere, and cleanliness were great! Being in the country seeing deer within 25-30 feet multiple times was enjoyable. I was able to take some picturesque photos of the colorful leaves and deer. (mid-November)Shopping and restaurants close by was deliciously convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our host was great, responding quickly to my inquiries.
In town for a larger family gathering. House was great for our needs with three teenagers. Kids loved the large yard and creek in the back. House was as advertised. The house does have some age on it but very clean. Queen beds would definitely make sleeping better as well as having a futon or pull out bed with teenagers but it worked out fine. If for some reason we ever ent back we would rent again.
We stayed one night, for a wedding near by. Overall, the house was great. My only little complaint is my toddler's feet got pretty dirty from crawling around on the floor. The owner was very accommodating. We would stay here again.
So we would just stay in the backyard on the back deck forever.... so beautiful and relaxing back there. spent most of the time there. Internet was available out there as well. Really cool retro 1959 (grandparents') place, but updated appliances and modern conveniences. Little updated touches, loved the retro toaster. They thought of everything from coffee setup to luggage racks. Really clean, organized, which made for peaceful living. Living room furniture is retro (i.e. not oversized comfort oriented, just a note if you plan to camp out on the couch). Fire ring out back to enjoy campfires. Watch for the deer every evening to cross the backyard and hang out under the apple trees. Convenient to stores, literally 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay again.
This property was perfect for us, I donât like to stay in campgrounds and the lake has NO houses on the water so we looked for a house close to the lake (for we live hours away)âŠthis was the perfect spot.
