Wonderful property- clean, quiet and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped and the pond activities were fun! The firepit at night was just what our family needed to relax after fun days. We will definitely be back!
We booked this to be close to the rural venue of a family wedding. There were 8 of us, including the groom, and we all absolutely loved this house. It feels bigger on the inside than in looks from the outside, the rooms are so spacious and airy, lots of windows and sunlight. Modern in the ways it needs to be but retaining its idyllic, old farmhouse identity. The kitchen is incredible, and served us well in preparing a bunch of wedding food. We didnât have much free time to fully enjoy the property, but the guys did manage to fit in some night fishing and caught some catties. The host was also great, very communicative and reachable. This house holds special memories for our family now, we plan to stay here again!
We had a quick vacation to PA with my 77 year old Dad from TN, my three active sons 12, 10 and 8. We had plenty of space and activites for all! My two sons caught their first fish in the pond, my Dad built a campfire at night for smores. We reveled in the travel to Rickett's Glen State Park to see waterfalls and even adventured to Bethlehm to see the SteelStacks and Museum of Industry ( a little far, but that was my undercalculation).
You don't need to leave the house or the property to have a full day with the facilities there. We cooked together, played games at the house, gave dramatic readings of ancestors born in PA and collapsed at night from exhausion in the newly renovated farmhouse.
Kevin greeted us, pointed out the nuances of the house and made it simple to understand appliances, fans, lights, life jackets for the pond activities, and kindling ( pre-cut!) for the firepit. The house itself holds a family like a hug. She is clean and well appointed with cooking supplies. We couldn't have asked for better place for our family memories this summer.
