Our check in was smooth and easy. The condo was updated, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The pool was a great temperature and well maintained. The beach was stunning and the perfect fall vacation for our 4 and 6 year old. They loved taking the trolley into town, playing in the sand and the ocean. We would absolutely book again.

The Oystercatcher cottage was an A+! It has great amenities. The screened porch with the fans was very comfortable. We enjoyed the games in the evenings after dinner. The beach cart was very functional and hauled all the provided beach supplies easily. Today we are going to try the kayaks!

A Memorable Birthday Trip

My daughters and I celebrated our birthday's together during this stay, and it was full of pleasant surprises. The condo was perfectly suited for our group of three and had everything we needed. While there wasn't a Keurig (an absolute luxury, not a necessity) I was thrilled to see a coffee pot! After a few failed attempts, I was finally able to brew myself a pretty decent cup of coffee. The location is amazing-literally a 5-minute walk to the stunning Siesta Beach. The condo came fully stocked for beach days with a wagon, umbrella, cooler, toys, towels, and honestly everything you really need. We also really appreciated the free transportation options to and from Siesta Village. We made sure to tip our drivers well since it was such a helpful perk. Siesta Village is a must visit! So many great spots to eat drink, shop, and just unwind. The host was incredibly responsive and patient with all my questions (and I had quite a few).The main bed was very comfortable, and while the sofa bed is probably more suited for children, it worked for the short time we were there.We truly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back!

Relaxing Beach Stay

We loved everything about our stay. The private beach access was convenient for numerous beach visits each day. The wagon and beach umbrella were perfect for toting our toys, drinks, and towels. The chairs provided on the beach were easy to move and were put away for us each night. We ended our Disney vacation by relaxing at the beach for 2 days and found it to be exactly what we needed! The neighbors were very friendly. We weren’t able to use the pool due to some renovations going on, but with the calm, shallow water at the beach it wasn’t needed for my kids ages 5 and 8. Highly recommend this location.

Loved location as it was in the middle of south siesta and the village. We rented bikes so made it easy to go to either area. Enjoyed having an umbrella, wagon and chairs to use for the beach. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

This rental was exactly what we were hoping for & more! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with how true everything looked to the photos. The entire unit felt brand new.The size was absolutely perfect for just the 2 of us. It might feel a bit tight with our 2 kids in tow, but was the ideal setup for a couple’s mini vacay. The bed was incredibly comfortable - something I’m very picky about - & I slept better than I expected. So glad I didn’t need to worry!One of the highlights was the unbeatable proximity to the beach. It’s just steps away, & having chairs available was such a bonus. We grabbed 2 & put them on the cart that Lisa provided & hauled them down to our spot. You’ll want to get out there early if you want a front-row spot, as the dedicated beach area is narrow but still long enough for everyone.We loved being able to walk from our spot on the sand down to the main beach for the Sunday evening drum circle. That was such a fun experience - great energy, music, & a happy crowd. Highly recommend making that part of your itinerary!The bathroom was beautifully renovated, though it’s on the smaller side, & the shower is a bit narrow. It’s fine for one person at a time (no couples showers unless you’re very petite!).Lastly & most importantly, Lisa, our host, was absolutely wonderful! She was responsive, helpful, & full of great local tips. This was the perfect place for a relaxing beach getaway. Such an amazing time & would rent from Lisa again!

The condo was beautiful and exactly as described. We had plenty of towels and other supplies for our stay. The beach towels and chairs were a plus since we flew there. I would recommend this to anyone and will definitely be back!

Lovely unit

The unit was pristine. It was like walking into a brand new home . There was everything you could ever need or want as far as kitchen items and plenty of things for the beach , like a wagon, chairs, cooler, umbrella, even a big basket of beach pails and things for the kiddos to use on the beach. You will have a designated parking spot right out in front of your door . We can’t say enough about the place. We will definitely be back ! And we can’t forget you will be on one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida.

Great stay

The property is newly renovated. It had all we needed for an excellent stay. Having access to a private beach with the lounge chairs was awesome. We made great use of the umbrella provided by the owner. The unit was quiet Please note the area is still recovering from the hurricane and there’s a lot of construction going on, but don’t let that stop you from visiting. We went into Sarasota a number of times as well.

Heaven on earth

My husband & I had the best time. Everything was as presented in the listing. The condo was very spacious & surprisingly well furnished. I can’t get over just how beautiful the beach was. It was a short walk from your front door. The wagon that was furnished helped transport anything needed. The chairs that were at your disposal on the beach were a nice addition to your private beach access. The pool was also nice. The weather was amazing. Nicely located with food & shopping a short drive. Would highly suggest the outlet mall there it was great. Lisa was great at communication, very quick to respond & helpful. Def a place we will return to sooner than later!

Wonderful stay

The property was great!! Very clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need. The bed was very comfortable, which is a huge thing for me, as most are not. The only complaint I have is there is only one nightstand and I’d prefer two. The bathroom shower head was very powerful and detachable, which is always needed at the beach. The proximity to the beach is great. We had a problem with the a/c the second day and the owner got someone out within a few hours to take care of it. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend this place. I hope to stay again in the future.

Wonderful!

We had stayed in a different unit in the building the prior year and had found the location and close proximity to the beach to be ideal so we were excited to find this property last fall. But then the hurricane happened and changed it all. So many rentals were being canceled, beaches destroyed and we weren’t certain we still had a place to stay. But our host, Lisa, pulled it all together somehow and we were able to be the first to stay in her renovated condo. Decor is charming. Colors are soothing. Furniture is comfortable and she has everything you might need. Though we rented cabanas and tent from a beach service (the beach is just a two minute walk and private), there is beach equipment for renter’s use in the condo. Lisa was very responsive and communicated promptly and kept us informed of all the reno progress, which I’m sure was very stressful for her and us not knowing if the condo would be ready. But she did it and we had a fabulous stay. I also recommend her restaurant on Tamiami Trail, Demetria’s.

Perfect beach area

The beach area was amazing. Only issue was not many towels for an 8 day stay and the main laundry room was closed for renovations. The beach umbrella, wagon, cooler and chairs is great.
