Front desk staff is terrible. They made what could have been a very pleasant stay at a nice resort a truly memorable stay for all the wrong reasons. As a Hilton Gold member upon check-in I asked about bottled water. I was told bottled water is only available to property owners, but they would give me two bottles. (Complimentary bottled water is a perk to gold members). I was told that my room was on the 3rd floor, and there was no elevator in that part of the hotel. I was not offered assistance with my luggage. I was told where to park my park. As the hotel is built into a hill, my room was actually five levels up from the parking lot. I was not offered a room upgrade. Which is fine if the property is full. However, judging by my room rate and the number of cars in the parking lot, the room was not any where close to capacity. The morning of check out, I called the front desk about 9:30A to ask for a late check-out. It was granted. I thought it odd that I was not told what time late check out would be. At 1PM I received a call from the hotel informing me that late check out was 11A. As it was 2 hours past that time, I said that I would be able to check out at 2PM. Front desk did not ask me to stop to see them upon my return to the hotel for a new key. However, after returning to the hotel and walking the 3 flights to my room, I discovered that I had been keyed out of the room. So I had to walk now 5 flights down to the front desk for a new key
