Dieses Cottage ist ideal für ein Paar, das gerne wandert, Rad fährt und sich entspannt. Es liegt in einer herrlichen Landschaft, nur 14 km von Skipton entfernt.


Dieses einstöckige Ferienhaus ist ein Paradies für Wanderer mit dem Ribble Way am Ende des Gartens. Es grenzt an das Eigenheim des Eigentümers und bietet sorgfältig abgestimmte und geräumige Unterkünfte. Es befindet sich am Ende einer Privatstraße in ländlicher Umgebung und bietet einen weiten Blick über die offene Landschaft bis zu den Hügeln dahinter. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in idealer Lage zwischen dem Yorkshire Dales National Park und dem Forest of Bowland, in der Nähe des Pennine Bridleway, des Settle Loop und des Mountainbike-Komplexes Gisburn Forest. Dies ist ein ausgezeichneter Ausgangspunkt für einen aktiven Urlaub. Es überblickt ein Gebiet von besonderem wissenschaftlichem Interesse in der Ribble-Au mit einer Fülle von Vogelarten und einem Vogelfell auf dem Ribble Way. Wonderful spacious cottage with all amenities you could wish for. Host are always available but not intrusive, just very nice. Plenty of places to visit or just stay home and admire the views.

This is a small cottage attached to the owner's property. Carl and Bev are the perfect hosts. Happy to chat and offer advice but who leave you to get on with your holiday. The cottage was cleaned to the highest standard, tastefully decorated and well-maintained. It is equipped with everything you need and more. The cottage is in a peaceful location, which in turn means a 15 minute drive to supermarkets but that's what we were looking for. There's a small enclosed patio to sit out and enjoy the scenery and a larger parking area with grass, which our dog loved to explore. The Ribble Way is on the doorstep but livestock in the field meant that we preferred not to use it with our dog. However the walk up the access drive to the main road was perfect for our evening strolls.

This is an excellent little gem. I was tempted to say no to recommending it as we would like to keep it for ourselves, but that would be selfish. We enjoy ourselves so much we are reluctant to leave, but leave we must. This was our 3rd visit and we have already booked for next year and that was before this years holiday. We enjoy walking and find the location excellent for such activities. Owners are friendly and approachable and eager to assist. Couldn't get over how dog-friendly the area is, allowing dogs into tearooms, restaurants, hotels and even shops. The owners Beg and Carl are very friendly and helpful and the cottage is immaculate and comfortable. Particularly liked the wet room. Saw and heard one of the owls on our last night. Would love to come back.
