The hotel and staff were lovely but hotel was closing next day and didn’t have many drinks choices. They were clearing out the bar of drinks as we were sitting there about 7.30 so felt like we needed to leave Also had to go to other pub for breakfast. Feel like the room price should have been discounted

The room was lovely with a large comfortable bed and ample space in the bedroom and bathroom, plus ample free parking. This is a dog friendly hotel and there seemed to be lots of guests with their dogs, as well as oursleves. The hotel is set in a lovely village with lots of green space easily accessable from the rooms to take the dog out for toilet breaks and beautiful countryside walks. We ate dinner in the pub, which was delicious and breakfast was equally delicious with the same high quality, local produce. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a lovely stay at the Lister Arms with our dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast during our stay. Our dog particularly enjoyed the dog treats and her bowl of sausages at breakfast and there were beautiful walks to take her right on our doorstep. We would recommend and love to go back again.

lovely room in the barn annex. Good quality produce. However, the kitchen doesnt cater very well for lactose intolerance - only butter for toast at breakfast. Also, potatoes/chips are not always included with main courses have to pay for these separately. Food generally on the pricey side.

Relaxing stay at the Lester Arms. We received a warm welcome, large clean room room with comfy bed. Staff extremely friendly even under pressure with it being a very busy pub. Food very good quality. Breakfast was exceptional. Fantastic walks on your doorstep. Would 100% stay again
